Wonderful, Fun Read, Can’t Wait for More!

Read it first on Wattpad years ago & saw the CW Seed pilot episode, but this is even better than what I remember! The characters are well written, each of their personality is unique and fun! I can’t decide between Cal or Cupid, they’re both hilarious and I love them both. The MC is actually not dull and a strong female lead, something that’s been lacking in most other books I’ve read—It’s a nice refresher!

The cover is beautiful and the interior is just as wonderful I honestly love looking at it lol, really well done job Wattpad!

I really hope all the books get published because they’re such a fun, engrossing read. Each time I read it, I’m hooked and can’t put it down. You don’t want to miss a unique great story with bad ass action, comedy that’ll have you chuckling out loud, and the playfulness & sweet romance that’ll keep you smiling. :)

She has shared it with many friends and teachers at her school. The story line was exciting and interesting. (She kept me well informed as she read)

Great Story, Disappointing Ending

I was honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed ninety-nine percent of this book! The story was not at all what I was expecting in the way of teen romance, and I enjoyed all the twists and turns! It has likable characters and the writing flows well. However, it felt like the beginning of a trilogy (it’s not) so there wasn’t as much character development as I would have hoped. ***SPOILERS AHEAD***

Crystal and the Minotaur could have been a whole spin-off or at least a plot line in a couple more books. Charlie being turned after being declared James’s match definitely needed to be explored! With the rules change can they now be together?? Do Cupid and Lila get to travel the world post-apocalypse? What about Cal? Are we entering into a frustrating love triangle between the two boys and Lila? There was so much that could have been done. What really caused me to leave three stars was the ending. Barely four pages, it wraps up the book about as well as a child wraps Christmas presents. I was at least expecting an epilogue set a year in the future to see where the characters are since there are no follow up books. Overall, I enjoyed the read, but maybe make up your own happy ending as the one provided can leave you wanting.
