Edgar Allen Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Bret Harte, and others present Classic Detective Stories, Volume 2, a collection of tales about sleuths, clues, dames, and of course bad guys. A variety of talented audio artists bring these mysterious short stories to life. A different performer tackles each adventure, tailoring his voice and pace adeptly to the piece's tone. Some performances are haunting, some suspenseful, and some quite grave. Overall, this collection is exhilarating for any fan of the traditional detective story.

A crime has been commited
Any additional comments?
Some truly great stories have been murdered by absolutely awful performances.
I m quite sure any (free) Librivox version would be superior to the very best performance in this audiobook.
