This was a very OTT hot and steamy book. Jay and Layla were great together. These two were drawn together even though Jay tries to fight his feelings for Layla. There is a little bit of drama in this book but Jay won't let his baby girl get away from him. I really enjoyed this book and I thought that Laurie West did a fantastic job with these two characters.

This is a very hot short story featuring Jay, a sworn bachelor and Barely legal Layla. It’s a slightly taboo story since she’s trusted to his care by her father. It’s hot, steamy and the narration is good.

His friend’s daughter is too much of a temptation!! What will he do? Short and spicy!! Good narration still would prefer a male and female narrator but it was good! No cheating, no cliffhanger and wonderful HEA!!

I really liked this story. It was an entertaining and enjoyable take on an age gap and dad’s best friend romance. The characters were interesting and likable. Jay wasn’t prepared when his friend asked him for help, but he agreed anyway. When he followed through and met Layla he knew he was in big trouble. Layla was everything that he had ever wanted and he couldn’t have her. Layla was 18 and felt a little weird staying with Jay, but the attraction that she felt for him was overwhelming. The two of them shared an amazing dynamic that made them super sweet. There was steam plus a touch of drama and angst. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Listening to the audiobook was enjoyable. The narrator did a good job differentiating between the characters. I wasn’t a big fan of the male voice that she did but she was still able to bring the story to life. I recommend listening to this audiobook as well.

I've listened to and enjoyed other books by this author but so far they have all been "Stalker" love stories, this one is the first for me featuring a dad's best friend story. Jay is a certified bachelor who is asked to let his friend's daughter, Layla come stay with him when her father gets into trouble and she would have nowhere else to go. Jay's not seen Layla since she was eight years old, the idea frightens him but he can't say no.

Jay and Layla’s story has everything you could ask for in a taboo love story, lots of heat, and I mean lots! Great chemistry, some daddy kink, an older man trying to resist a woman/girl seventeen years his junior, that said she's no child and she's all in! So when finally, Jay's restraint crumbles and he can't resist her anymore and well you get the idea.

After listening to this one I want to listen to more of the Filthy Dirty Summer series. The narration is by Laurie West who did a good job of bringing Jay and Laula's story to life for me.

This is a age gap with a daddy kink. Jay 35, is watching over his friends daughter Layla 18, while his friend is in jail. Jay fights his feelings because of Layla's age and being his friends daughter. Layla is determined to win Jay over even if it takes being bratty to do it. When they both give into their feelings they are combustible! Layla is Jay's Angel Princess and Jay is her Daddy. Definitely a hot and steamy romance.
