Publisher's summary
The Alarm is the third installment of the VR Experiment series. It follows Project Unicorn and Tormenting Regina, which laid the groundwork for the series. After receiving a spa day gift from her husband, Regina is introduced to VR therapy as a means of relaxation but also includes subliminal commands which he can trigger using keywords. and phrases. The first two stories revolve around two baseline commands and those commands occur in this edition but now they are paired with a less certain trigger, a step counter alarm on her Fitbit. Once Bill triggers the step alarm program, every 2500 steps flashes a message on her Fitbit that activates the programming, which in this instance had Regina take off her clothes and continue with whatever she's doing. She remains oblivious to her nudity until someone mentions it, at which point she goes into a panic about her missing clothes. The first alarm sounds while she's cutting the grass and while embarrassing, it pales to her later incidents. This story also continues her interaction with the teenage boy across the street, with him taking a role in using the embedded commands to make videos so Bill can see his wife in her embarrassing situations.
