Calla left her life behind, haunted by a curse she cannot control. She seeks refuge in the land of a thousand hellos, Ireland, for a fresh start—a place where no one knows who or what she is. Colm fled from Clonmara seven long years ago, but now it’s his father’s birthday, and the clan has gathered to celebrate the ould one. Each day brings back the memories that ruined him. Saoirse dwells in the shadows of a lost love, unwilling to move on and unable to forget. The crystals say one thing, but the cold, hard truth tells another. Kieran walked away from the woman he loved for the fun, for the craic. He didn’t realize that one rash decision would impact the lives of so many, least of all his own. Four broken hearts, brought together by the thread of love.
This is a steamy romance with descriptive words used. Irish names, and the odd 'Irish' phrase that the narrator must learn to pronounce.

The Irish setting was beautifully described and added so much atmosphere, making it easy to get swept into the world of Clonmara. The mix of romance, family secrets, heartbreak, and faerie folklore kept me interested, and I found myself wanting to know how all of the characters' lives would eventually connect.
The multiple points of view took a little while to get used to, but once everything started coming together, the story became much more engaging. Each character had emotional baggage that made them feel realistic, and I appreciated how their journeys slowly unfolded.
Overall, this was an enjoyable start to the series with intriguing characters, a magical and mysterious setting, and excellent narration. I'm definitely curious to see where the next book takes the story.
Unique blend of romance, mystery & Irish folklore
