Male narrator has a very hot masculine voice but his version of the feminine voice is soooo weird and annoying that it kept pulling me out of the book.

Not sure why it’s rated “Red Hot” unless I fell asleep and missed a part. But please mind you, I fall to sleep at night to audiobooks so falling asleep just means I enjoyed and relaxed.

I really like the male narrator but not his depiction of female voices. I love CJ Bloom but EVERY time I hear a book with her, I go back to Sophie and Neil. Again, that’s not a bad thing, it can can just be funny if it’s a character like this sweet geeky computer nerd and all of a sudden, I’m picturing Neil....

Overall, this story was fun. I liked both main characters and liked the chemistry between them. Makes me almost wish I didn’t have a Mac anymore. I wonder if you can find a guy like Simon at the Genius Bar? I thought that Cassie’s list of kinky situations was a bit quirky but maybe that was because of her lack of experience with kinks.

I enjoy when an author brings a ‘cause’ to their books, like Simon’s sister. I think any time we can highlight and educate, even slightly, we owe others that bit of good. I also think it makes romance books more inclusive when characters who are POC, differently abled, on a large spectrum of sexuality, etc are depicted. I don’t know about other readers but I get tired of perfect beautiful and rich characters all the time. As much as I want to be taken to a new world, I like my worlds grounded in some reality.

Altogether, this was a feel good, HEA story. It was tame enough to listen to while gardening but racy enough that your blush isn’t just from deadheading your roses. I think if the story was slightly longer, some of the secondary characters could have been expanded a bit more to give the story more depth.

I would definitely listen to another story by Tawna Fenske.

This is the perfect summer feel-good romance. Simon and Cassie's relationship is so light-hearted and fun. And his sister is adorable. Her sisters are annoying, but they grew on me....

Cute story, with total laugh out loud sexcapade moments. I liked the male readers voice for the lead male character, but his female voice...well it needs work. There were a few sort of “uggh” moments with the writing... but nothing that can’t be improved upon with practice.

I finished listening so that's good. I like Alexander Cendese as a narrator. his female impression is a bit weird but his raspy voice is sexy to listen to. CJ Bloom was NOT good. her voice was obnoxious and sounded way too valley girl for a woman in the book. it was grating and not at all worth the listen. the story was decent. not great. not bad. middle of the road. fairly predictable but it had good notes here and there. I had a hard time connecting with Cassie as the narrator really just made that impossible. I think maybe reading this instead might have given a better take on it as I just couldn't connect with the h. I might try and read something from thewlis author in the future to see if it is a story issue or narrator issue

Its definitely different. I was able to get through the book but was back and forth about how I felt about it. it really is a book about kinky sex, which at times was fine but got to be allot. I think when when the book kept referencing about how filthy rich he was I was like OK we get it he's loaded! it made the character somewhat annoying. I Found the book more interesting and entertaining when it wasn't just about constant sex. idk mixed feelings on this one.

I really liked this one, funny and sexy. However, I think the male narrator was a really bad choice for this book. He kind of ruined the sexy scenes. It would have been better if the female narrator did the hole book by her self.

The story was ok. The male narrator does fine when reading the male parts but ugh his female voice, painful. Honestly didn’t hold my attention well and I ended up skipped a couple of chapters.
