When the delivery guy at her new office turns his attentions to newly divorced single mother Darcy, she brushes it off as flattery, but the encounter awakens something deep inside her. A desire, a lust, a growing need for intimacy, for passion, for release. Her friend tells her it's time to get "back on the horse" - so what if Darcy was to follow the delivery guy outside to his van and act on those desires?

Is there anything you would change about this book?
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. The plot was a little sparse, but then how much can I expect from a 30 minute story. It mainly centered on the office titilation created by "The Delivery Guy" and the fantasy musings of the main female character. There really was no conclusion. The book just ended. It left me feeling a bit short changed. Narration was a bit too fast, but I do like Ms. Bloom's voice quality.Would you be willing to try another book from Roxy Hart? Why or why not?
Sure, this was my first very short audio so it was a new experience in and of itself. I normally go for much longer books - 8-12 hour audio. I would definitely be interested to see what Roxy could do with more time.Which scene was your favorite?
I really enjoyed the dream/fantasy scene. Unlike another reviewer, I really liked how the narration was treated in these inner personal musing scenes. It differentiated those scenes in a creative way.Do you think The Delivery Guy needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
The fact that we know absolutely nothing about the actual delivery guy - then yes. He came off as a cliche - completely gorgeous, stuck on himself, and he knew it. I would like it if we were to discover that there was a lot of substance to him.Any additional comments?
I don't understand why people criticize the book for being too short. It is what it is. We know the length from the beginning. I think the author could have left out the part with best girl friend - didn't add anything - and developed more about main female character easing back into romantic relationships. But I felt this was a good way to pass 30 minutes in my car. It's what I needed for that period of time.Good option for a quick listen

Any additional comments?
The Delivery Guy by Roxy Hart was a pretty good quick read. The delivery guy at Darcy's job brought up feelings for her. I wish the book was a bit longer but this was a good quick read. Xanthia Bloom did a great job narrating the book and bringing life to the characters.Good quick read
