Publisher's summary

The sequel to the 2012 novella, At the Cowboy's Mercy.

Bronc rider Liam Delaney has earned a place in the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas for the second time in his career. But before he rides, he wants to look up the woman he'd spent two weeks with, four years ago. Though she'd been a stripper, she'd seemed like so much more than that. They'd had fun together, and when he thought about his last visit to the finals, he thought about her. He's looking for a repeat.

Grace Bertrand doesn't strip anymore, but she's still working at the same club when Liam walks in. She never thought she'd see him again once the rodeo left town, had banked on that. For some reason, he was the one man she couldn't forget. Now he's back, looking for the same kind of fun they had last time. Though she knows she should refuse, one look at him is all it takes. She's been alone too long, and he's just the cure for that loneliness. But after a night with him, she remembers she's not the person she used to be.

The problem is, the person she is now is just as attracted to Liam as the old her. And she has no idea what to do about it.

Cute sexy novella

I really enjoyed this short sexy story. I fell in love with Liam. Now on to Teresa’s story. More sexy than erotic. And as always Tracy Marks out did herself. Worth a credit

Love x's 100! This Series Is SO GOOD & HOT

~~~~~~~~~MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Liam is traveling the rodeo circuit and it has brought him to Las Vegas. He goes to a strip club and while admiring the girls notices a familiar face behind the bar. It was Grace, a stripper he had a tryst with a few years ago.
Trying to draw her into conversation, Grace doesn't buy it. Liam is persuasive and Grace brings him home for another night. They have a night of passion.
In the morning Liam gets a big surprise!
I'm going to leave it at that because that is the most important part of the book.
Emma Jay writes risque stories, my only complaint is that they are too short. I'm always left wanting more!
The narration was spot on & as I mentioned in my first review, Tracy Marks is a professional and does a brilliant job.
Mature themes & strong language
Same morning as the first book: sexual situations, strong like language with a tiny bit of violence. I received this book in exchange for my review.
Great follow up yo at the Cowboys Mercy
I didn't want to like Liam because he was so cocky in at the Cowboys Mercy but it didn't take long to not only forgive him but to genuinely like him. Liam and Grace had a quick fling 4 years ago that resulted in a son Liam didn't know he had until returning to Vegas. Grace is skeptical with good reason and questions Liam's loyalty to her and their son. This is such a sweet love story albeit an erotic one but still a very sweet love story about coming together as a family. Loved it. As always Tracy Marks does an amazing job narrating this book and bringing all these characters to life.
It was what it was
I was not over the top or down at the bottom. This was an enjoyable listen to pass the time. I found both characters needed to work on their communication skills without the sex. Neither Liam or Grace seemed to be very deep characters, but you could feel the love they both had for Noah. Instead of being open and communicating with each other things were left by the wayside and caused unnecessary issues. This was a quick listen and gave a good start to what could have been a good full length.
Narration was good but nothing pivotal stood out and stuck with me to make it even more or less.
Awful sweet for so much sex
The plot is a little too kid-focused, the romance side a little too Hallmark awww for a novella with something like 5 detailed, mouth/finger scenes (like one every thirty minutes). I wanted more fire in the dialogue, action, or naughty bits.
The next book is also heavy on the single mama-drama thing, making book 1 my favorite because there’s better heat and somewhat more creative nooky. All three are great quickies when they can be had as a free borrowed listen and okay if bought on sale. Nothing terrible, but also nothing memorable.
