stories are good, narrator not so much

I like a lot of sex in my erotica, so I tend towards the compilation types rather than a novel. I mean, don't get me wrong... I like a good erotic novel, but they are few and far between; most end up being romance novels with a few steamy sex scenes. I much prefer explicit, raunchy, xxx stories which most would probably say are too extreme. I love the sleeping beauty series by anne rice, for instance.
anyway, the stories here are varied and most are adequately explicit for my tastes. However, I think the narrator did a horrible job with them. She isn't really cut out for erotica, in my opinion. she wasn't sultry at all, and was almost robotic at times. it all felt very rushed to me. she could have slowed down for sexy emphasis, and put a little purr into her voice here and there and every story would have been improved ten fold.
that being said, I'm still glad I bought the book, but I would have given it 5 stars had the narrator been a little sexier.
