While in pursuit of two outlaws overdue for a date with the hangman, Stone has just ridden into the sleepy little town of Abbot when one of the gunmen sends a bullet whining by his head. Not sure before, at least now he knows he’s on the killers' trail. After an extended chase, he captures both. Even then, one is determined not to go back. Stone is forced to kill him. After placing the remaining gunslinger in a ramshackle jail, he meets a beautiful Mexican girl, who ironically, has a personal vendetta against the killer. The hanging she anticipates is foiled when two local low-lives, hoping for a share of the loot the killer has hidden, breaks him out of jail. As Stone prepares to track this killer once again, the girl insists on accompanying him. She informs him she intends to kill this animal herself. Stone refuses, but she is not to be denied. She will either ride alongside him or follow from behind. Stone relents. As they chase this desperado along the Canadian River in northern New Mexico there will be times Stone is glad the woman is along. Other times he’s not so sure. Canyon of the GunStone begins this job on top of a stagecoach, posing as a shotgun messenger. Outlaws are robbing the Southern Colorado Stage and Freight Company of gold shipments and driving the stage company to the brink of bankruptcy. Desperate, the owner wires Jake Stone. Stone doesn't stay atop the stage long. He and the likeable old cuss of a driver formulate a plan. The plan works, and he discovers the owlhoots’ hideout just beyond the Canyon of the Gun. Although he has no intention of confronting them until he can return with help, nonetheless, he is forced to kill several of their number before he can leave. Even more will die before Stone closes this case.Rendezvous With DeathSOME MEN ARE RUNNING HEAD-ON INTO A BULLET THAT HASN'T YET BEEN FIRED.In the middle of nowhere, Stone and his fellow passengers find themselves on a stagecoach with a busted wheel and an oncoming blizzard. After the old driver mentions there is a railroad line not far from here, Stone sets out to find the tracks and ultimately a train. He finds a train, but it isn't moving. The train has been robbed by outlaws and all but one of the crew has been murdered. If he’s going anywhere, with the help of a surviving brakeman, Stone will have to figure out a way to move this behemoth himself. After mastering the controls to some extent, he discovers the tracks ahead had been destroyed by the same gunslingers in order to stop the train. He has but one option and that is to move in reverse. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get far before the train derail. In addition to all his other problems, he finds the gold is still in the mail car. Apparently, the varmints didn’t find what they were looking for. He is not overly surprised when they return. This time, they’ll have a surprise waiting. Ride along with Jake Stone as he encounters ever-present danger and occasional romance in what was once the wild west frontier. Género Ficción Westerns México América Latina
