Cassandra Everson is spiraling. Her life is the epitome of "just getting by". Her job? Unfulfilling. Her sister? Overbearing. Her boyfriend? Well-meaning, but she just isn't that into him. But after an attack by her neighbors' so-called service dog awakens something primal within her, Cassandra discovers the monster that has always been inside. And she is hungry.

As her cravings grow harder to control, so do her urges. Sex and violence blur in a savage, erotically charged descent into lycanthropy. As the bodies pile up and the mask slips, Cassandra realizes that there may be no going back.

There was no warning of the atrocities that will occur in this book. Pet death. In graphic detail. The narrator does a great job but the book content should come with a warning.

Sorry, couldn't finish. The narration is like fingernails on a chalkboard. And the writing is about par (or worse) than what you'd find on Literotica with a man writing a female perspective. The main character is completely uninteresting and basically a unfeeling b*tch.

The author gave a copy away on Reddit. Being a fan of the genre I couldn’t wait to tear into my new score. It was a blast! It moved at a great pace, the narrator fit the story well, it was bloody, sexy, horrific fun and I can’t wait to hear more from the author. Did anyone picture Anna Paquin in Trick r Treat as Cassandra? Despite the hair color it’s who I imagined.
