It’s been a while ago since I’ve read this story the first time and I’m glad I decided to buy the audiobook.
This is a great story with amazing main characters.

This was a very intense book. Ms Sinclair is one of best BDSM authors on the planet. I'm so looking forward to her next book. Thank You Ms Sinclair for enriching my life with all of your stories. I wish there really was a Shadowlands.

Great narration & wonderful story. Although The Shadowlands tales are "stand alone", they are much better if they are read in order. This one more than most as it updates the lives of 2 other couples from earlier books. When Cherise said Ben the "vanilla" guard at Shadowlands and the sadist, Mistress Anne, "told her" they belonged together we couldn't imagine how. She's created an a awesome tale of exciting erotic romance and suspense that brings these two disparate characters together. I loved every listening to every minute.

I really enjoyed this book when I read it and had to wait quite a while before it was released on audio. The narrators really bring the characters to life! On the surface it doesn’t look Shadowlands employee Ben and Mistress Anne have a lot in common, but they mesh perfectly. Some people may not like the dominant female/submissive male dynamic, but Cherise Sinclair does a fantastic job making the story both believable and satisfying.

This book is different with the submissive being male but it is the same excellent quality as the rest of the series

As usual Cherise Sinclair has gifted her readers with a wonderful couple with serious heat and an original story that ends with their HEA.

The 2 narrators did a wonderful job bringing all the characters to life.

and not because the book was so sad but because it’s so filled with emotions.
And what a series, this book is just as good as any of the previous books. The lady knows how to write a good story with great characters.

Ben and Anne have their challenges, the process of changing things when you don't like changes is hard something both Ben and Anne is experiencing. The journey they take together and separately is exiting, fun, sad and very enlightening for them both.
The chemistry between them is sparkling and I laughed and cried with them.
Anne is trying so hard to be the hard mistress and Ben is trying to be what he thinks she wants him to be.

Some of the characters from previous books gets a little story within the story and that's a real treat.
The writing style is excellent, easygoing and still dealing with some heavy topics managing to make it very, very readable.

Narrators:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings I enjoyed listening to this story even though I read it several times before.

This is definitely a series I can read over and over again

Where does Servicing the Target rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was a good listen, but I wouldn't say it was my favourite of the series.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked getting more information on characters from previous books.

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin deWard – was your favorite?

I love Noah Michael Levine's narration of Ben's character. He has a great voice for this series.
