I should have known better than to mess with my wife's birth control pills. Sure, I managed to get her preggers...but now, she's swapped bodies with me to punish me, and I'm the one stuck carrying this little bundle of joy!

Carson has always wanted a big family, but his wife, Katie, insists that she's not ready to put her body through all of the hassle of having one yet. She's a young, hot yoga instructor, enjoying life on her own terms while Carson hangs out with his friends at the pub.

Carson can't let it go, though. Women are made for this sort of thing, he figures. She probably just needs a little push. So one day, he swaps out her birth control pills for fakes, and hopes that by the time she realizes what's going on, she'll just get used to things! When his plan works, Katie ends up being pretty pissed.

He didn't count on her having a magic spell that swaps their places, though! Now, he's stuck dealing with the consequences of his own actions...all nine months of them. And if he doesn't do everything Katie says and keep his new body in tip-top shape, she might make him do it again...and again...and again....

This is my 3rd short story from Alyson. Fun and steamy as usual. Great body swap short story. Will try others in the future.

While the writing was good as usual I was not a huge fan of this story. One of the redeeming factors is the comeuppance that the perspective character goes though

N.B. I received a free copy of this book via freeaudiobookcodes.com. I liked this better than some of the other books by the author. I found it interesting. There wasn't much focus on the sex scenes, but they did exist. It was more about the flaws of the main character than the sex.

Once again, we have boring characters and boring sex scenes. Nothing stuck out as cringe-worthy this time, at least. The narrator reads so slowly I had to crank the speed up to 1.5. The concept itself is sexy, but the author doesn't make good use of it. The protagonist's experience as a pregnant woman is actually rather rushed, when the title and synopsis (not to mention the flipping cover art) would lead you to believe it is going to be the focus of the story; we get one sort-of promising pregnant sex scene, and the next chapter, she's going into labor. Fan-flipping-tastic. I'm starting to think Exchanjii was a fluke and most of the stories are weaksauce 😟

The premise was good, the actual book fell short. I think it is too short to get invested in the H & h. It's good if you are looking for something to cleanse your pallet between heavier books. Overall I would try another Book from this author.
