This was, perhaps my favorite story of the series. It had lot's of touching scenes. It demonstrated how love can totally change your outlook on life; give you hope for a better future. I only wish they could have settled their differences in a much shorter time period. I also wish that this book would have ended better. There is a significant situation, for the couple, that doesn't get resolved in the novel or epilogues that was important to finish, in my opinion. I hope we learn about it in another book. in the series. This is one of my favorite MC series of all times; well worth the cost.

I really liked Painter and Mel's story

So Far I think I like Painter and Mels story best. I was sad when we lost Duck. But over all this is my favorite Reaper’s book so far.

Overall I like the book very hot and streamy.What I dislike was there was too much sex. I would recommend the book too people’s that like a lot of sex.

Joanna Wylde never disappoints and she didn't this book either! What a fantastic story! I love the Reaper MC and the Silver Bastard series! I can't wait for more from this author!!

My new favorite book in the Reaper MC

I didn’t think I would love this installment. Almost skipped it, but it’s against my nature to do so. I loved it. My only complaint was that we didn’t get enough of the sweet once all the drama was over with Painter and Melly. Looking forward to Gage and Tinker now. While the narration wasn’t my favorite, it’s still well worth the credit.

This one was different and had so much more depth. It was really well done, not that the others weren’t but there were so many relatable or believable situations and emotions - my favorite in the series.

I love all the Reapers books and this one is no different. I had to deduct 1 star for the story though because Melanie was a stuck up b!tch there for a while. Overall though?! Yes please! I have bought all of the books and now audio books!

So I loved the entire story and narration, but Mel made me wanna smack some sense into her at one point. Painter made up for his stupidity. Thanks for another great listen in this series.

The story of Painter and Melanie is a winner
It's a great balance of action, character development and romance.
Their story is told in with a mix of flashback and present day. Excellent story
