N.B. I received a free copy of this book via freeaudiobookcodes.com. This was another quick one by L.T. Stone. I'd say this is my favorite of the 3 I've read, but it's still not one I enjoyed. It starts at a professional photography shoot with some sort of superstar, though I'm unclear what kind of superstar she is. The sex scene is spicier than the other Stone reads of mine have been, so if that's the style you're looking for, this one handles it much better. The characters also feel more believable (remembering this is erotica, so still need a large suspension of disbelief) than the other 2 I've read from the author. Overall, this still isn't my cup of tea, but it was closer to being an okay read than a bad read for me. I think others might enjoy this one, but I didn't. The narrator was also much better with this one, though she did have some weird quirks of cadence and pronunciation. She also seemed to try to hit a mix of normal voice and sultry voice at various points which felt more natural rather than forced.

I think it had an interesting story but the steamy scenes didn't really do it for me. The writing felt a bit stilted for me but I like that the couple was interracial. I think maybe I wanted a bit more chemistry or development with the characters other than lust at first sight.

This being my first foray into the genre, I didn't know how the story would be framed, the characters described, the setting imagined, or the action progressed. I was pleasantly surprised at the care that Stone took to craft this short erotic experience, and the sultry tone set by Fairfield. There's a good balance between provided detail and space for imagination. The telling feels comfortable and smooth. [Disclosure: I received this title for free]
