 Diane is a young nurse navigating the stressful, chaotic life in the medical profession. Things are not all rosy, and in some ways the ward is like high school, with married doctors sleeping with nurses and lots of cheating. One day, a big fire happens and lots of new patients come in. One has severe burns on his face, arms and hands, so that he can't talk or manipulate objects. But word travels fast among the nurses that this particular guy is well endowed. Diane gets assigned to him after another nurse falls ill and has to take over a week off. And as Diane gets to know Patient X she comes to care about him and his needs. For he can not satisfy himself, but Diane knows how much torture it is for a guy to go without sex. They hatch a plan, and soon Diane and he will be connected, if ever briefly, in copulatory union.
