Norman and Madeline, a young couple eager for a new beginning, move to the idyllic town of Stellarville, hoping for a peaceful new life. But beneath its serene surface lies a chilling secret: Dr. Hans Muller, infamously known as "Doctor Murder." Obsessed with defying death, Muller creates a serum that reanimates the dead—only to turn them into monstrous horrors. As the virus spirals out of control, Norman and Madeline are torn apart, trapped in the chaos, and forced to fight for survival alongside a group of survivalists. Will they escape the once-enchanted town before it’s too late? Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction

Fun, world building zombie novel with great characters!
Martial arts, Renaissance Fairs, and Fruityloops! This book has a great cast of characters I think Eugene stands out and I cannot help but think of Doug Marcaida as both are Filipino Kali gurus and forge blades. He was easily the coolest character and these are fast, rampant, feral zombies (ala Return of the Living Dead!) not the slow zombies (The Walking Dead) which makes it scarier (and challenging for our protagonists)
Not as serious as The Walking Dead and not as campy as ZNation it fits right in the middle. The story is great, my only critique is the female A.I. narrator, this book would be a better audio experience with a real human reading it.
