Along The Oregon Trail, is about the hardships and joy, life and death, that five sisters traveling the long road of the Oregon Trail experience, along with many others, including a man and his troubled father. There is sickness as well as health and all along, faith guides the two families through both misadventures and adventures, chance meetings with strangers, and troubled pasts. Any additional comments?

This story was such a wonderful reminder of a couple of things: Given to our own thoughts, we soon are led down a dangerous path (Proverbs 23:7; 2 Corinthians 10:5), and no matter how much we think we can do things on our own, we need each other - not only for physical helps, but more importantly for encouragement (1 Corinthians 12:15-20). It's hard to imagine life in the rugged west and that folks actually survived leaving their homes and traveling through unknown lands. Only by God's hand was our "Land of the Free" founded. We must never forget that; we need a spiritual revival!

We need each other!
