Operation: Thrustmaster: Rock Hardin: Agent of A.S.S., Book 1

OK, just the title gave me hours of entertainment, so that's 3 stars right there. Operation: Thrustmaster is like the love child of the ultimate fantasies of Ian Fleming and Ron Jeremy. I have had the best time and spent the entire day smiling. It's fast-paced, dirty, cliche, tongue-firmly-in-cheek, offensive and fabulous. What a killer ride. In case I'm being too subtle here, I LOVED THIS!!!! Just click the button and put it in your cart.

Joe Hempel was awesome with all the various bad guys/girls and their accents. Aside from good pronunciation, enunciation, inflection and tone, every moment had the perfect amount of emotion. The man gives good drama/melodrama. Focus, introspection, pain, suspense, anger, arousal, paranoia, coquettishness….. Basically, I had no complaints about his performance ;)

(I'm seriously considering telling my mom that she MUST have this audiobook, you know, just for the phone call I will get afterward. I may record it for posterity. Muahahahahahahaha!! )

Such a fun sexy spin on spy movies!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Operation Thrustmaster is a tongue in cheek story about several spy operatives who must rescue a woman, Hilarity and a lot lot lot of sex ensues.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It was hard to pick between Sebastian and Cindy. Both are portrayed hilariously.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene where the two bad guys come into the window right after Cindy and Sebastian's post-coital bliss. This book so spoofs the spy world, I could really visualize the scene.

Operation: Thrustmaster: Rock Hardin: Agent of A.S.S., Book 1 by Alana Melos

This book starts out with sex, has sex all throughout and ends with sex. If you want a spy book this is not it. If you want a little spy stuff thrown into a book about sex then this is the one. Want to spend about 45 minutes listening to different descriptions of sex. This is your book. Perhaps you will learn something to include in your sex life.

Suspenseful and Erotic

Would you consider the audio edition of Operation: Thrustmaster to be better than the print version?

Joe Hempel's voice brings this story to life; Joe's voice is easy to listen too and he does a wide range of characters with ease and simplicity. This audio book made a car ride enjoyable and this reader's evening at home also enjoyable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rock Hardin would have to be my favorite character; with his charm, his constant sexual appetite and the way he was able to have his way with so many women during this 2-hour audio book. I also was impressed with how he controlled the airplane and how he never failed to get himself out of a bad situation.

What about Joe Hempel’s performance did you like?

Joe is a seasoned narrator, nothing seems to faze him and I can't help but giggle with some of the situations he has to describe in this naughty audiobook.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book was a fun read for me, some gun and BDSM type violence and was a great reader experience. Will definitely look for more books by this author and narrator.
