Wow, I got a lot more than I expected with this hot read. Please note there is no real depth but if you are looking for a quick hot read, this is the ticket. Samantha and Teddy did a great job and I felt the connection and love the couple had over the years and their best friendship. Super sweet conclusion. Would recommend! Although I received a free code for this one, I would have bought it. I will def re-read!

This is the perfect, quick, and sexy friends to lovers romance! Jayne hit the ground running letting us get to know Jeni and Brian, their history as best friends since birth, and the feelings they have always had for each other. I was quickly invested in their story and cheering for their HEA. I loved how they still had fun together, trusted completely, and made their sizzling passion new and exciting every time. Now they just had to take the leap and give their love a chance. Narrators Samantha Cook, and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job making us love these characters and bringing their story to life. They helped me feel all the fun, fiery passion and love Jeni and Brian felt for each other. I was totally engaged from the very beginning and the ending was so perfect that even tho it was short, I was totally satisfied!

Enjoyed the short sexy best friends to lovers, it’s one of my favorite tropes. Pretty sexy and cute, loved she was a curvy FMC.

I realize it was a short novella... but I still felt like I came into the middle of a movie. The premise wasn't bad - I just needed more development in it. Also Teddy Hamilton is listed as a narrator and doesn't come on until the very end.
