Publisher's summary

**THE FIRST BOOK IN THE COMPLETED RENASCENCE ALLIANCE SERIES**

HUMANS ARE THE MOST ADORABLE CREATURES IN THE GALAXY.
Everyone says so.

Is it such a surprise that an Alpha Imperial Warship would take human prisoners?

Most definitely, everyone knows, the Alliance never takes prisoners.

Once onboard, the crew of the Dakota are casually informed that human women from the crew are now shockingly considered to be Alliance citizens by the Empire. Moreover, they will be returning to the Alliance homeworld.

This was completely unexpected. What is even more bewildering is Captain Kara Rainer’s instant infatuation with the alien admiral who captured her and coerced her into marrying him. And her passion does not stop with him, but she also becomes enamored by an alien female onboard who supplies her with information and attention.

WHEN THE CHANCE TO ESCAPE COMES, WILL KARA TAKE IT OR STAY WITH HER ALIEN HUSBAND?

Enter this alien world and follow these human women of the late 26th century to the Alliance Empire, a matriarchal society where women have always ruled, but Alliance men have always dominated their hearts. There are few heroes or women being rescued. Instead, listeners are led through complex traditions of an alien culture: mazes of alien courting rituals, obedience to strict religious codes, and often uncomfortable compromises, all while chasing romance and marriage. Every door is open in the Renascence Alliance, and an overarching story is intertwined throughout the series, but it is not necessary to listen to the books chronologically to enjoy the romance of each individual book.

Note to Listeners: If you are mostly here for the science fiction, please move on to the other books in the series, beginning with Book 2, Married to the Alien Doctor, which is also a standalone and starts the series almost in the exact same place as Book 1.

Each book in the Renascence Alliance Series is about a different woman. Therefore each woman has wildly different expectations from the aliens in their lives within the confines of the Alliance Empire.

Good

I enjoyed this book. Good world building. I liked both the human captain Kara and the alien admiral Tir. Both have very different outlooks. I liked Jill Smith's narration. I liked her smooth, even tones, and found her reading almost soothing. A good start to a new series.

Excellent Story!

This audio re-recorded version of Married to the Alien Admiral is an excellent first immersive journey into the society that is the Alliance matriarchal world of the 26th century.
Having read the e-book edition I also enjoyed this audio version as narrated by Jill Smith whose transitions from male/female voices was smooth and well done.
I usually don’t enjoy single voice narrations but this artist was exceptional in keeping me in the stories flow and enjoying the adventure of MFC Captain Kara Rainer and MMC Admiral Tir.
After the Admiral captures her ship the Dakota and its crew, then coerces her into marrying him the intrigue, action, politics, and passion heats up!.

The Price of Battle . . .

As war raged across the projection screen, Admiral Tir of the Alliance Alpha Warship Refa told Captain Zan to save the humans, keeping in mind the Empire’s current shortage of women. They brought the small human starship Dakota into one of their docking bays and sent guards and a medic to assist. When Admiral Tir could not find Captain Kara Rainer in the brig, he went to sick bay. She had been struck on the head and was recovering. Tir didn’t like that their captain was unguarded in his sickbay. She had been a menace to the Alliance’s supply ships during this war. Even in direct battle, when she should have kept her inferior little ship in hiding, she showed superior strategical skills and bravery. Who knew what this human captain was capable of if left unguarded on his ship! He stood over Kara, knowing she was not actually asleep, and began talking. Aware that the Alliance never took prisoners, Kara was trying to figure what he really wanted from her crew.

When Tir had her brought to him, he told her half the crew would return to Earth after promising not to participate further in the war. The other half were now Alliance Citizens and would be sent to Capital Planet in the Alliance Empire. So that the other women would be willing to marry Alliance men, he told Kara that she would be first. She would marry a man of his choosing this night or he would kill her male crew. Then she was taken to his room to wash and dress for her wedding. He went to the Shrine in the ship and asked the goddess of home for guidance – and she told him he was to marry the human and would find his destiny through Kara. What would the future bring to them? She was even then plotting how to steal a ship and escape. Would she learn to love the man chosen for her?

This was an interesting story line that gave the reader a great deal of description to make the world around the characters seem real. The characters were also described in detail and Kara’s strength and resolve was admirable. Once her male crew members were safely away and not used to force her to comply, she would take steps to turn everything around in her favor. I hope the Admiral knows to hold on because this feisty female is about to take him on a roller coaster ride he may not survive! The narrator for the audiobook version, Jill Smith, brings the “reading” experience alive for the listener. She does a good job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood, familiarize the reader with the characters, and offers a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

Married to the Alien Admiral

The first Audible story in the Renascence Alliance series. Human Captain Kara Rainer and alien Admiral Tir's steamy story of two people from different cultures and what they had to overcome to be together. The Audible book held my interest as Jill Smith narrated their story.

Married to the Alien Admiral!

This is the first story in the "Renascence Alliance" series. It is an alien romance about Admiral Tar and Captain Kara. The author created an interesting and intriguing science fiction story with an interesting spin. This is a very steamy read/listen with a possible trigger. I thought the narration was really good and brought the characters and their story to life. I look forward to reading/listening to more by this author.

Enemies To Lovers In Spaaaaace

Gleeful Goblin Review: This is very, very much an enemy to lovers filth fest for about the first two hours of this audiobook and in between sessions you can see the characters posturing against each other. There's especially a lot of friction from a religious standpoint since religion is an absolute and fairly restrictive structure in Alliance citizens lives. I'd say that this book has more "dark" elements than you'd anticipate based on the cover but with the enemies to lovers piece there are also some elements of d/s even with the Alliance being a matriarchy as well as edgíng and exhibitionísm/voyuerísm. Not a bad thing or a complaint but definitely something to be aware of if you're thinking you'll be getting a sweet alien romance because noooooot exactly. What you do get is an interesting setting/world building and fairly compelling characters who have to learn if and how their lives fit together while in the midst of a war.

Steamy Sci-Fi Romance

This is the first book in the Renascence Alliance Series, a Sci-Fi Romance. Kara and Tir's story is steamy, and intriguing. Tir is an alpha and dominant alien. Kara is strong, smart, and sassy. Their chemistry is sizzling hot. The world building is original and interesting. Jill Smith did a great job bringing this story to life. THE ALLIANCE LAWS AND HER ADMIRAL

Tir and kira. Shes the Captain of the Dakota which has been taken by the Alien Admirals ship with the Alliance World. They are attracted to one another instantly and they fight each other instantly. She is told according to a new law the women are Alliance citizens now and will be returned to the Alliance world. Shes says never will they surrender and be taken as Pets or Slaves. She is told to surrender herself and her female crew and let their males and her ship be set free or be taken by force and have their male crew killed and her ship Dakota given to a museum. She is told they will not be pets or slaves they will be citizens wed to the Alliance males. They have different outlooks on the same subject. She hears captive and enslaved as a wife. He tells of a great gift to become an Alliance female to the greatest race and most intellectual in the universe and a privilage to be married to an Alliance male. As a bargain is struck to save her crew and he to make an example of her she is to be wed to an officer that night. This is a highly sexual book with great world and charecter building. I have read other books by this author and some are amazing like this one and some stories are not so interesting. If this book is the start to a series on the same path I cant wait to read the others.
