I can't remember the name of the characters because I've listened to a couple of books since then. My takeaway from this book is that both characters are annoying because of the constant back and forth. Immediately after each they hook up, one of the characters always regretted what happened. (mostly the male character) One or the other vows it'll never happen again, but the next scene, they're right back at it, only for them to promise it'll never happen again. It's like that for the entire book. It got frustrating after a while.

The characters repeatedly stated that their relationship wasn't accepted by their community and the public, but we never got to see it. Who in the community wasn't accepting their relationship? Was it their neighbors, his publisher, their families? What was being said that made them feel that way? Those were the questions I walked away with. We didn't get to see the outside world, only saw the steamy scenes. I think they made a really good couple. I just wanted to know the characters more outside of their physical interactions.

Overall, it was still a good book. I would encourage people to read and form their own opinion.
