Yes, the book is an a perfect description of the Yokota NCO club during the 80's. I was there and it was exactly the way Cici described it in the story.

This is a unique stand-alone story that nothing compares to it.

The bar scene when Akako first enters the crowded bar and meets Miko.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending on the train when she is cleaning her eyebrow and eating chocolate.

This is the first of the Akako Kurosawa series, and this is Akako’s story. How a Japanese girl raised in a traditional family goes over to the ‘dark side?” A must audiobook, the foundation of the series. A fun and sexy audiobook. Akako has a spark and a kink with her sense of loyalty.
