Overall performance: Dean Cray cannot do a Scottish accent to save his life so the first book was a bit rocky. The other two he does a great on though. He does the female voices throughout the series as well so if that is something that you don’t like you have been warned

Overall story: This is a great series that focuses on love later in life. It also includes a made up table top RPG called Castles and Creatures which is part of each story

Dungeon Master
Gavin wants to win back his ex-wife Leah. She isn’t so sure initially but warms up to his antics. There are BDSM elements throughout and steamy scenes that are very satisfying. They get their HEA at the end.

Dungeon Daddy
Jax and Esther wouldn’t have any issues if they just talked to each other. The conflict starts with a misunderstanding over a C&C game Jax is DM-ing and snowballs from there. This is a DD/lg story and does involve punishments. The rocking horse scene does not disappoint

Dungeon Showdown
Aiden and Cyana’s story was my favorite. Dommes rarely get to be main characters and Cyana doesn’t disappoint. Once Aiden gets over himself it is all spicy times and steam.

The storyline about multiple characters throughout this series was very well written and narrated. The series offers some well depicted scenes that showed true human emotion.

I have adored every Golden Angel story I've heard, but this one is more difficult fo me. I'm 65 and I don't need help up from the floor, I can bend down and pick thigs up, though i might be slower at it. My point is that these guys are only in there fifties and they are being described as falling apart and closing in on decrepit. It makes the story sound false, like hearing a story written by a woman speaking like a man and in you're head you say "Said no man ever". GA must be young to write 50s so old. I was rocking in my 50s, and I would think these characters would be too.

I’m a fan of book series about club “families” and this one was so much fun to listen to. I loved the characters all together.. and their individual stories were very interesting in their dynamics and the way they erred.

Golden Angel, I find, always keeps it real. Her Don/sub characters are real people who are not perfect, but they can be made aware of their faults and learn from mistakes. That makes me want to read more.

I enjoyed listening… and Golden Angel is a must read/listen author for me!
