Clay's adventures through resisting the resistance and weighing his plans and strategizing around the women was more in depth with regard to internal dialogue and small moments than I am used to in the sci fi genre which is usually more focused on the machinery.

I enjoyed it immensely, though not what I expected and there were quite a number of intimate scenes as well so if thats your cup of tea in a dystopian mech world this book is for you!

Also a bit shorter of a book, but as a reader from royal road serials there seems to be a book two in the works!

Highly enjoyed the performance of the narrators and more than a little frustrated with the cliffhanger ending that I hope will be resolved in the next edition.

interesting combination of game simulation, real mecha battles, and relationship drama. voice acting pretty good and fun- especially during intimate scenes. excited to see where this goes in the next book!
