Fascinating

I enjoyed how the author mixes wolf and dragon shifters in the manner that they did. The author makes the flow of the story continue in a good progression. The narrator is easy to listen to also a good listen all around. #AudioBookObsession #PinkFlamingoProduction

Hot & Spicy!

Bridget, the former mistress of Dundalk and wolf shifter decides to explore outside it's borders. Awakened by her scent, Gideon leaves home to find Bridget. He does find her, and their connection is immediate. One night of steamy passion leaves them sated, but when Gideon awakes, he finds Bridget gone. She doesn't realize she is his now. And with their coupling, she finds herself changing, and not into a wolf. They are true soulmates and now life will be different. Gideon is a strong alpha male, and takes what he wants. He has no problem punishing Bridget if her behavior does not suit him. Bridget is feisty though, and while she takes her punishment, it does not make her back down. I love that about her. She tells him exactly as it is! But she does hold a secret that may ruin them. What will happen when he finds out? I loved the ending of this one. It's hot, steamy , and if you enjoy shifter romance with a touch of darkness, this one is for you

With a character like Gideon, you need a narrator that can be both strong and tender. Jack Calihan's voice fits him perfectly. He has a deep, slightly raspy voice that holds that commanding tone. It's seductive and alluring! He easily falls into Bridget with a slight accent and he brings this shifter romance to life!

Steamy!

Gideon and Bridget's short story is fast-paced and steamy. Gideon is an alpha dragon, dominant and protective. Bridget, a she-wolf, is strong and independent. They share an instant attraction and a sizzling chemistry. I like the ending. Jack Calihan did a great job with the narration. #AudiobooksUnleashed

The storyline and characters are just okay for me. This is only my opinion and I know others that loved this book so if this your genre, I encourage you to read/listen to it and decide for yourself.
The narration was very good.

Dragonlord

This book was so good! Delta James' books keep your attention throughout and before you know it, the book is over. Everyone thought the dragons had all but vanished but Gideon, hot dragon shifter, was awakened from his slumber. He could smell his mate, Bridgett, and went to search for her. Bridgett, a she-wolf, was the mate of a pack alpha who died. She wanted to escape her pack to start a pack of females. She even left her young daughter behind (but Gideon takes care of that). Bridgett was very feisty but she was no match for Gideon and the mate bond. She tried her best to fight the attraction to Gideon but, of course, it did not work. It was destiny for them and Gideon is a very dominant alpha. This book is tied to Warlord, Overlord, and Wolflord. I can’t wait to see what happens when Gideon’s brothers awake and go in search of their mates.

I cannot say it enough that Jack Calihan is an awesome narrator. He does an outstanding job narrating these books. I could just picture Gideon talking to Bridgett in Jack’s deep, sexy voice. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Wolf shifters and a dragon shifter. A small town that worships the dragonlord. Gideon awakens to find his true mate. Bridgett, a she wolf, independent, doesn't want to be mated again. But Gideon takes care of that.
Anything that Jack Callahan narrates is phenomenal. His abilities are amazing. He captures the vulnerability, dominance, of Gideon to the stubborn, sassiness, of Bridgett. he exudes perfection.

Great Story!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I love Gideon and Bridget's story. Gideon is a dominate alpha dragon. Bridget, is a she-wolf, strong willed an independent, she is the widow of the former alpha. She decides she does not want to be mated again and live with the male ruling her life. She sneaks away to find a place where women live free and make their own choices. While searching for this place Bridget meets Gideon who is a dragon and they both know they are fated mates, but Bridget fights the mate bond and Gideon does not give up and starts to transform Bridget into a dragon without telling her. This is a great story! Narrator Jack Calihan does a great job with the story and characters.
