A diverse collection of stories, Dirty Words: Provocative Gay Erotica by M. Christian, is sure to include something that will appeal to all fans of this genre. Beautifully narrated by Pavi Proczko, he brings something unique to each character and keeps the whole audiobook flowing smoothly. Proczko’s smooth, melodic voice is an excellent choice for M. Christian’s dark and gritty tales.

I commend M. Christian on the wealth of characters and storylines, and especially in providing such a wide variety of erotic styles and content. While every story wasn’t my cup of tea, the three that captured my attention were spectacular, and I can’t resist mentioning them here.

With a solid four stars, “Puppy” is a lively and arousing narration of play between a pup and his master, need I say more? When that naughty puppy receives his discipline…, damn I wish the story was longer. All fans of puppy play are sure to enjoy this one!

I’m giving five stars to my favorite, “Chicken Hawk”, a story of vigilante justice. The story unfolds perfectly, and I have to resists saying more lest I reveal any of the delicious surprises along the way. Just to whet your appetite, a young man goes undercover to entrap a child predator. The descriptions of everything he encounters are wonderful, and I’ll be thinking of this incredible story for a long time to come.

Creative and irresistibly dark, “Counting” is a first hand account of one man’s life in futuristic, war torn, San Francisco. It’s every man for himself under militia rule and the main character does what he must to survive. Beautifully written, bursts of alliteration make frightening situations even more intense and highlights M. Christian’s skill as an author. Another excellent five star read for me.

As I mentioned above, Dirty Words includes a wide variety of dark and erotic stories. While every last one of them may not work for you, there are sure to be a few which will appeal. Rest assured they are all well written, and when combined Pavi Proczko’s wonderful narration, Dirty Words is an enjoyable audiobook.

I liked this collection of various erotic stories. I am not usually a fan of such short stories, but the snippets into characters' lives were enough to satisfy different tastes. I enjoyed some tales, others not so much, but overall this was a good listening experience. Narrator did a good job and gave unique voices to variety of characters. This was new to me author/ narrator team and I am going to look for more audiobooks by them.

This books took me on a ride that made me feel as if I was twisting in the wind, but in in the end it brought it all home. I truly enjoyed this Erotic tale of MM sexual exploration.

I don't general read erotica so maybe this is more common than I think, but all of these stories, even the ones that weren't really my thing, were very poetic and philosophical. I need to look for more from this author.

I couldn't really get into this audio because of the POV but the narrator wasn't horrible. To me the POV made it really hard to not only understand but to give me that mental picture I get while listening to an audiobook.
