Changing Stations is an erotic novella set in the early 1900s. It follows Lord Henry Waynewright in his endeavor to lead a group of survivors out of the wild Cascade Mountains after a violent train wreck leaves them stranded and struggling to stay alive. Among the survivors is Wanda Pierce, a humble maid who strives to ward off Henry's advances, all the while growing more and more enamored by his dogged optimism.

What begins as a train wreck becomes an exploration of the human condition - of love, loss, lust, and connection. It is a treacherous winter as friendships are molded and enemies made. The fight for survival reveals startling truths and diabolical betrayals. Only Lord Waynewright can brave the twists and turns, and with the help of Mr. Moffat, a retired colonel, Henry learns how to keep the others alive.

But, alas, someone does not want them to escape the unforgiving landscape and is repeatedly sabotaging their efforts. Someone - but who?

This was a very different romance and adventure combined. With a train wreck and a need to survive in a snow covered mountain, adventure abounds. Karl Michaels did a super job narrating it.

The art of writing the short story comes easily to this author, and its impressive, this was an interesting and sorta sexy little tale with a bit of mystery intertwined...Lord Henry Waynewright is a funny character...and all and all this was a good listen...narrated and written well..and very much worth your time!!!

A LITERAL TRAIN WRECK..BUT SEXY TOO!

This was a neat and kind of funny story. It's a little hard to describe. Yes, it has s.e.x. in it but it's early 1900's meets steampunk noir. Lord Henry Waynewright is in a funny and interesting situation. This was very entertaining. Snyder Sturgess wrecks the train for gold and Wainwright meets Wanda and Charlotte. The story is rather adventuresome while they attempt to save themselves.

This was a good story and it really showcases Karl Michaels voice talent. He was masterful with his different characterizations. He's a great narrator. I quite enjoyed this story and especially the telling of it.

A sexy mystery with a twisty plot that keeps you listening. The narrator is more than up to this task, with a tongue in cheek style that somehow seems to match the dialogue. This is an over the top set of characters that seems more fun than realistic. Overall, an entertaining evening's listen.
