Publisher's summary

After drinking from the fountain of immortality along with his brothers, Maxum is condemned by the gods to be entombed in the earth. Even though he has now been granted a reprieve by day, each night he is buried anew, his rock-hard body immobilized, his bones crushed by the pressure. When he emerges, his body heals, but his spirit remains scarred.

There is only one way for Maxum to be completely free: He must kill the god who cursed him. The task will require tremendous power, so Maxum must gather talismans to equip him for the battle. To help him on this quest, Maxum approaches the alluring Airianne and strikes a bargain as tempting as it is audacious. A skilled thief, Airianne could be a valuable ally if only Maxum could trust her. Will this stealthy seductress also try to steal his heart, or will their boldness end up getting them both buried?

Entertaining series!!

The 4th and last book in the series for the 4 brothers, very entertaining and so glad I happened upon it! Especially since it was included in the romance package I didn’t have to buy books instead of my lunch 😜😬

The best

I really enjoyed this series. Don’t know but found this the best books. Maybe the fact the the heroine was part of his journey.

Another great series by Jacquelyn Frank

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I LOVED THIS SERIES!!!

I looked forward to each brother and their stories since i stumbled across the first book. Maxum's story was seriously an amazing ending to this wonderful tale of 4 brothers.

Maxum was fair and quietly alpha. Ari was strong but not a pain in the ass. Together they were loveable. I did get annoyed when Maxum kept ignoring Ari's warning about that other dude but in Maxum's defense she was kinda manipulating him with their attraction. There was never a dull moment in this story. I sorta want to know what happened to the other two guys in the group and if they found what's his face's mother but it doesn't bother me enough to get pissy.

Story 4 (the extra star is for the whole series)
Narrator - hot damn he sounds sexy. I am totally gonna stalk him on audible and pray he has more romance books coming out.

I enjoyed this mythological series

I really enjoyed this series. It was different than most of the other novels I have read/listened to, in the past. It was a nice change. It was kinda like listening to an adult version of the tales of Hercules. There is a lot action, drama, romance and passion. I definitely think it was worth the credit.

Liked the other books a little better

Nice ending to the series but I must say the heroine was a little annoying. She never really seemed to understand how to ask questions later rather than during a crisis.

I did enjoyed the series and reading about the brothers. The ending for Maximum was relatively easy to predict and were other conflicts in this book.
