love the story line

I loved the spice, very descriptive. The world building that she does is fantastic and enjoyed that she still let the lead be a strong independent person , while she could still be true to her character.

Good storyline and interesting characters. Nevertheless, the narrative voice ruined the pleasure of « reading » the book as the intonations were most of the time wrong and difficult to distinguish between the characters. Some intense parts of the story were spoiled due to the mismatch of the intonation. It is too bad, it is a nice book that deserved a better reading.
