This book was so good. I have a certain expectation when I listen to Ms. James’ books and she does not disappoint. Wyatt and MacKenna hook up for one night and then Wyatt had to ship out. Years later they meet again after the team rescues women but end up leaving MacKenna behind. During the time they were apart, he tried to find her. They both thought about each other. When she escapes from her captor, she blows up a BDSM club in Dubai and the bad guys are after her. I understand that MacKenna was a very strong woman but she could be very annoying. Wyatt has to protect her from herself but she escapes from under his protection. Watch out when he catches her. She will be sore inside and out. This book has a very nice ending and the door was left open for another book. As always, JT Farrell did a great job with the narration. He is great at male voices and does a pretty good female voice. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Wyatt , Makenna story is so hot a an edgy dark scorching romance that is filled to the brim with intense heat a fascinating plot that is both decadent and breathtaking and characters that are truly amazing !
This is without a doubt one of my favorite book by Delta !  From the PERFECT cover to every word until the last page was wonderfully twisted and consuming!

Well written, fast pace and steamy audiobook for sure. For me, Delta James never disappoints. JT Farrell’s narration makes it all the more better.

As with all of the Mercenary Masters series these are interconnected standalone books about Doms and their subs. In this story Wyatt a dominant meets McKenna a sub for a night that both will remember. However, his job pulls them apart the next morning. Mac endures atrocities and other issues until she and Wyatt are reunited 7 years later. Delta James draws the listener into this story from beginning to the end. She is the master of protective loving doms, and subs that resist all of this protection. Her sex and love scenes are explosive. Her storyline and character development are outstanding.

JT Farrell has a deep dominating voice, but he also gives the other characters their own distinctive voices. He has an amazing way of making one feel the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.

This book was incredible!! Delta did it again with the Cerberus Alpha men.
Wyatt is on top of his game until the rug is yanked out from under him by Makenna Dalton. She’s survived too much these past 7 years to find herself at another man’s mercy. Wyatt has other ideas about Makenna’s submission and any mercy she might receive.

JT Farrell is the perfect Alpha narrator with perfect accents to put you right in the middle of the scenes. 10/10 for the story and narration.
