Look beyond the fantasies of whip-cracking dominatrixes and cowering slaveboys, and you'll find real women and men in caring, consensual female-dominant relationships. Yet, given that social norms grant the majority of power to men, how do these relationships work? TammyJo and Fox have been building their female-dominant relationship for many years, and have gathered their most important discoveries and theories into this important manual. You'll learn:
- How to take your roles beyond the bedroom
- The role of rituals, contracts, and protocols in day-to-day femdom life
- How to achieve training and growth that complement the nature of the relationship
- How each individual can get his or her needs met within the context of a consensual disparity in power
- How to integrate fetish desires into the relationship
- How to cope with the realities of life (illness, work, family) without losing touch with the relationship... and much more

I expected a story about a female headed household but the cover and title were literal. It was literally about bondage and s&m !!!!! Fun listen anyway.Wow !!!! Not what I excepted.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a peek into a polyamory family, not a peep -- the way people live day to day without any "talkshow" flying monkey content. This book reminds me of books describing what gay people are really like, written by gay people back thirty years ago when the idea of mainstream acceptance was literally unthinkable.Who was your favorite character and why?
Descriptions of what the dominant and the submissive authors were like as children were both hysterically funny -- and touching. I was left with a real understanding of the continuity of both authors' lives. What aspect of Mark Boyett and Isabella Gordon ’s performance would you have changed?
Their Dagwood and Blondie personas for this book fit in very well with the text. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This is a book that I read in short segments thinking about each one. For me it wasn't a treadmill book -- too many moments of laughing, stopping the machine.Any additional comments?
Many many moments of "Huh. Good to know."Betty and Veronica share Archie, all's cool
