So our story follows our Italian Mafia Princess Allison who to me is very bratty but she has her moments where you just feel bad for her.
That being said there is ALOT of miscommunication in this book due to her being mafia royalty and him being her bodyguard and basically her brothers best guy.
Max our MMC hides alot! He knows alot of information that he cant speak some for obvious reasons. He definitely tries his best to fight his feelings for Allison but also tries to hurt her on purpose to keep her away.

For me I liked the story and the spice but also felt like something was lacking.
I was able to listen to the audio with Andi Eloise and Sean Masters Duet Narration and they definitely made the book better for me with their awesome voice acting skills.
Will I continue the series yes because this one ends on a cliffhanger and I just have to know how it ends.

I was looking forward to getting to know more of Alison Battaglia after reading al 4 books of the Lords of the Commission series. And boy, I was not ready. This book gave me all the feels. I felt connected to Alison on so many different levels. Alison is a strong independent woman not afraid to take what she wants and is dead set on being in control of her own destiny, all while being free and the light of the lives of her friends/sister inlaws and her mafia brothers. Max though...ugh Never have I ever wanted to knee a man in the balls so hard. The way that I screamed at the book every time Max made Alison doubt herself!!


Stephanieeeeee, that ending, though!!!! I need to know what happens next. I'm going through extreme withdrawal right now. I NEED MORE OF THIS STORY!! I can't wait for the next book!

Well now I need to know what happens next, like does max finally cave and love her the way she deserves? Does he save her? Does the guy from cali get what he deserves? And the Spanish guy, does he get what’s coming first him? There are so many questions after this lol.

The audio for this book is absolutely amazing. Duet narration and so well produced. The deepness of Sean’s voice gives me chills every time and Andi did the most perfect voices for each character and emotion!!

Oh I need the next book!

In this continuation of the Lords of the commission series we are now focusing on Allison and Max. Allison the mafia princess and Max who works for her brother the mafia Dom. This book has major twists and turns and a lot going on. At one point Allison has 4 different love interests! This forbidden love match is hard to like at times due to Max’s attitude and treatment towards Allison. I very much look forward to the next book to get the rest of the story and hopefully get more of Max’s side of the story! The narration was great. Sean Masters as Max was incredible. The cliff hanger leaves you wanting more!

How does Stephanie Amaral do it? Angela of Darkness had the most delicious yearning from start to finish. I loved that Andi Eloise & Sean Masters (two of my favorite narrators) voiced Alison and Max. They really make you feel all the feelings…yes All of them. The forbidden relationship was so hot, but Max denying the attraction was painful for me. We also get to see some of our favorite characters from the other Lords of Commission series. If you love mafia romance and yummy spice, this is for you. There lots of action and that cliffhanger left me a mess! What happened? What happened to Alison? Max? I need to know!!!
