I loved the story but it cluld have been a bit longer. i was shocked that it ended where it did.

I love hot steamy regency romances. I picked this one because it was short and I needed a break from my 10+ hour listens but this was tough to get through because the narrator was hard to listen to. Way to breathy no emotion in her reading. Just flat...

I enjoyed what little there was of a story. I’m just baffled as to why the author didn’t expand on the story.

This book had absolutely no substance. Just when it felt like something worthwhile was about to happen, the book ended. Additionally, the narration killed what little story there was to be told. It just felt like she was reading without any performance.
