When a siege destroys the castle where Tavia has served as a slave since she was a girl, she finds herself at the mercy of a gorgeous Viking with an unquenchable lust for her. Through a series of unexpected events she is free fleeing the castle, and he is left for dead and stranded. When both end up on the same path in the forest, their fates become intertwined. Now in the hands of a Viking, she becomes wild with passion at the pleasure of his touch. But he wants more than just her sexy body. And she is about to find out what.

This story contains explicit sexual content in the form of great sex with a Viking.

I love hot steamy regency romances. I picked this one because it was short and I needed a break from my 10+ hour listens but this was tough to get through because the narrator was hard to listen to. Way to breathy no emotion in her reading. Just flat...

Story was ok narration not so much

The author could have gone further with this book or did a follow up book.
It just feels incomplete.

I enjoyed what little there was of a story. I’m just baffled as to why the author didn’t expand on the story.

This book had absolutely no substance. Just when it felt like something worthwhile was about to happen, the book ended. Additionally, the narration killed what little story there was to be told. It just felt like she was reading without any performance.
