not sure what the other reviewer was talking about I thought the narrator was good. I had no problem listening along . loved the story and would recommend it.

great story loved it

The story line was great, little erotica, but it was very hard to due to the horrible narrator/performance. I would like to have a narrator to see how much of a difference it would make. .

Struggled

I'm not a Heather Miles fan. Her voice going up and down is irritating. And I don't like how they all have the same voice. But, it's still a good story to listen to.

Not a fan of the narrator. I had to check to see if it was an AI narrator. The story was still worth listening to.

I can usually play with the narration speeds to my satisfaction but there was no helping this one. Good thing the story more than made up for it. Still worth the listen.

Annoying Narration, Really Good Story

Listening to this story was almost unbearable. The narrator's tone and cadence belong in a D movie. The story had potential, but I had to force myself to listen.

This is one of a million cases in which the reader (this was neither performed nor narrated) ruins the book. This one seemed to have no understanding at all of the link between punctuation and voice modulation.
I got through the book because I liked the story But is would have been 5 stars with a better narrator.

Hot, but not

I also found the narration odd. Don’t let it stop you.
The story plot is surprisingly good romance.
Many of the characters are very likable.
There is character development and a few surprising plot twists.
And, of course, “Eyes simmering with desire.”

I first purchased the ebook of this book and saw it released today as an audiobook and opted to listen to it. I am glad I have the ebook to read along with, that is the ONLY way I know when sentences, or thoughts or phrases end or begin. The narrator here seems as if she is in a race to get to the end of the book without breathing.

I had to stop listening because there is no pacing to the story based on how it's read here. The story seems as if it will be a good one, but the execution in audio form won't allow it to progress properly.
