Another classic Nin work. Psycho sexual and definitely ahead of its time. Deadpan narrator but it works.

The book is an interesting one but the narrator is very boring and flat which renders it unlistenable. Shame because it is an interesting work from Nin.

Anais Nin is always impressive, and this is a book i'd never heard of. Good, straight ahead reading. THUMBS UP!

Very Mysterious

Pretty profound and beautifully written- I particularly enjoyed the cyclical structure - though I think that the protagonist would've been easier to empathise with if she wasn't so casually racist, repeatedly fetishising the POC characters.

Never hear of this narrator before but what a great book! Simple, direct performance and amazing tale of weirdness from Nin.

The narrator could have been better but the story is so captivating that I listened to the entire thing regardless. If you’ve ever been in Sabina’s position, it is chilling how accurate it is portrayed.

Anais Nin is the best. So weird and cool. This book's narrator is a bit flat but I think it works. I'd say get this and listen today.
