A Portrait of Doran Gray is loosely based on The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. In this version Doran Gray is a young woman who loves her pleasers be it sex, drugs or theft. Henry Warton is so taken by a nude portrait painted by his friend Basil Hillwood that he instantly falls in love with it, but can paint and canvas take the place of flesh and blood? He wants to meet the model, but finds her a pale imitation of her portrait. When the model sees her portrait, she is not impressed, but wishes the portrait could mirror her sins instead of her.
