Publisher's summary

Ben is a pebble-gifting season reject. He wandered the cold streets of Anchorage for three weeks straight, hoping an alpha would give him a pebble. But no one did.

Axel is banished. He lost his temper four years ago and almost killed the alpha who abandoned his brother. Now, he can only spend a handful of days per year in Anchorage, which is when he comes upon a sad penguin shifter in a wrinkled tuxedo.

When Cyrano runs into Ben and Axel by chance, he decides to lure them both to bed. Clearly, Ben needs someone to show him how irresistibly attractive he is, and Axel needs to be reminded that he’s a good man, despite what happened in the past.

Cyrano’s sure he can do both at the same time. On the same night. After all, he’s good at multitasking. It’s a perfect plan. Until he falls in love. With both of them.

A Home for Ben is an MMM romance with an accidental pet tortoise, two omegas who get pregnant at the same time, and cameos from previous characters in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series. This book is the third in the series and will only make sense if you’ve read/listened to the first two books.

Please note that A Home for Ben includes both traditional mpreg and mpreg of the penguin egg variety.

A Home for Ben

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Review Copy of this book.

I thought the narrator did a good job of juggling having 3 main characters, they each had a distinct voice for me.

I will admit that the Daddy/boy kink is not really my thing, but I think it works better in this story than in the second book in the series. I felt bad for Ben, given how abandoned he felt both from being left as an egg and not getting any interest during Pebble Gifting season. I'm glad he got both Axel and Cyrano to show him how amazing he really is. Axel made one stupid mistake (and a perfectly justifiable one in my opinion) and got exiled from Anchorage and the only family he has left. Cyrano wants to be accepted for who he is, a mix of alpha and omega, and he's wanted Axel for a forever mate for years, not just a temporary mate as is more customary in polar bear culture. I liked how it really takes the three of them to balance, it didn't just feel like a couple with an extra person thrown in. I think the magic is interesting, and we get a bit more explanation in this book than in previous books.

I know that Axel's brother Lu has his own book, but it felt weird to have bits and pieces weave into this story. I also thought the time jumps felt a little jarring at times. Also, I get the penguin nesting is very important, but I almost felt like Ben's pregnancy was viewed as more important than Cy's at that point. But overall, this was a solid piece to the series.

Wonderful!

This audiobook brings a favorite book to life in a wonderful way. The narration is really great. The narrator does a fantastic job of doing distinct voices for each of the three MCs in a way that flows naturally. I enjoy the other side characters coming back in and how the narrator uses his voice to build the scene in my mind. Special kudos on the growly adult scenes.

Three’s not a crowd

Ben is so adorable. I just loved him from the very first time he’s introduced. Axel is strong and an alpha that’s been banished to an area that’s for Polar bears who can’t control their rage. They meet when Ben goes into a bar on the last day of Penguin Pebble Gifting Season. He feels so alone but Axel takes him to get a bite to eat at another bar where they run into Cyrano another polar bear. There’s a chemistry from the start and they all decide to help Ben get rid of his virginity. None of them expected them to become fated mates and for them to give birth to eggs and a cub!

So much happens in this sweet book that I just had to listen to in one day! I just had to! Amy Bellows did another great job writing a beautiful story of three men who all think they are damaged in some way and how they are actually perfect together. Great narrator, Zachary Zaba. Loved his voice and each character distinction! Enjoy!

Loved it

I absolutely loved this audio! The narration was fantastic! I loved how Cy, Ben and Ax all came together. Poor little Ben, my heart just broke for him especially when we find out about his mother. I really got a kick out of Ben’s nest!! Highly recommend this!!

A loving home for Ben and his men

Can two big polar bears make one sad little penguin shifter taste the sweet love and a warm home he so deserves? The answer is YES! Omg! This is so cute. I have loved the previous two books in the series and this one is definitely not an exception.

Ben is a penguin shifter who grew up in foster care but he really wanted to find a forver home in the arms of a loving man according to the tradition of penguin shifters. But after no one giving him a pebble for three weeks straight, he thought there’s no hope for him at all. However fate has different plans and he found the home he desperately wanted in the arm of two polar bear shifters. Axel is a big alpha who needed a second at life while Cyano is a fireball who connects everything and make everyone works as a pair. I love how dynamic, fluid and natural these three are in a relationship. A gruff but loving alpha and an omega who identified himself as an alpha and a pure, little omega penguin, they are all so adorable. This is funny, heartwarming and romantic at the same time. I can’t wait for more books in the series.

I liked this story better than the first two. MMM Omegaverse story set in Anchorage and best read as part of the series.
