After being separated from her pack and left for dead, Riley a fearless American bulldog, teams up with an unexpected ally on her quest to find the final path home. Together they face the harshness of the wilderness, the rage of the "deaders", and the murderous intent of the "two-leggers". Sometimes, man is far from a dog's best friend.
Would you listen to Riley V again? Why?
Yes. I've listened to series several times and will listen several more times. And I am NOT a repeat book listener!
Have you listened to any of Sean Runnette’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Only mark Tufo books. He's remarkable!
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives", which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
This is an amazing message from this author. Don't hesitate to listen. I had many "rewind" listen , rewind listen moments. Beautiful 🙏🏽

When Laurie was a little girl, she was forbidden to enter the room at the top of the stairs. It was one of many rules imposed by her cold, distant father. Now, in a final act of desperation, her father has exorcised his demons. But when Laurie returns to claim the estate with her husband and 10-year-old daughter, it's as if the past refuses to die. She feels it lurking in the broken moldings, sees it staring from an empty picture frame, hears it laughing in the moldy greenhouse deep in the woods.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I honestly think that the last few chapters have to be missing! There is no way a book can end so abruptly ALMOST mid sentence!
What do you think your next listen will be?
It won't be one of this authors books! Have some respect for your readers time!
What three words best describe Cassandra Campbell’s voice?
Breathy and a bit too focused on trying to create tension
Any additional comments?
There was NO reason at all to include the 11 year old getting a period. It made no sense to even bring this up!

Fourteen-year-old Carey and six-year-old Jenessa have lived in the woods with their mother for as long as they can remember. Now abandoned, they must fend for themselves - until they’re found by Carey’s father and thrust into a bright and perplexing new world of comfort. Carey desperately wants to believe in this new reality but is held back by loyalty to her mentally ill mother, who gave Carey her violin and taught her to play the music that helps her survive.
I have 455 books in my audible library. This book is in my top 5. This book puts you inside this girl. It was beautifully written and in all honesty, I don't believe this book should be listed as teen. The subject, while never graphic is a bit mature for teen. I LOVED this book.
Audie Award, Science Fiction, 2016. An astonishing technique for recovering and cloning dinosaur DNA has been discovered. Now humankind's most thrilling fantasies have come true. Creatures extinct for eons roam Jurassic Park with their awesome presence and profound mystery, and all the world can visit them - for a price.
Scott Brick brought BANG to the story- as if this classic story needed it. But his reading was outstanding (as always). I thoroughly enjoyed this tale from years ago. Thank you for bringing it back into focus!

For generations, the Lenore women have manufactured a fragrance unlike any other. Hidden in the quiet rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, their perfumery guards unique and mysterious ingredients. A secret known only to a select clientele of movie stars, politicians, artists, and CEOs, the Lenores' signature elixir is the key to success for the world's most powerful women. Capturing the essence of sisterhood with the sweetness of flowers, Season of the Dragonflies is a beguiling tale of practical magic, old secrets, and new love.
It was not a good book. The relationships were forced and I could not connect with ANY of the characters.
Anna Benz, an American in her late thirties, lives with her Swiss husband, Bruno - a banker - and their three young children in a postcard-perfect suburb of Zürich. Though she leads a comfortable, well-appointed life, Anna is falling apart inside. Adrift and increasingly unable to connect with the emotionally unavailable Bruno or even with her own thoughts and feelings, Anna tries to rouse herself with new experiences.
In all honesty I did not finish this book. I got 2/3 finished and still felt like there was no substance, no connection to characters and I couldn't suffer through it anymore. I was so excited for this book too!

2019. Six years after the Jakarta Pandemic “decimated” the world's population; life is back to normal for the Fletchers and most Americans. The United States stands at the brink of a complete domestic and international resurgence, with stories of confidence and prosperity dominating the headlines. Appearances can be deceiving. An undercurrent of paranoia and fear still runs strong below the surface; the collective angst spawned by 28 million American deaths forever stamped into population's psyche.
The whole book is a set up for next book and juuuuust stopped. Not sure I'll get next in series. This was a lot of hours to invest only to go no where with not a touch of closure.

A deadly infection spreads across Europe. The Undead series: a terrifying account of one man desperately struggling to survive this harrowing event day by day. At Tower Bridge, Howie, Dave, and their group of survivors take stock of the previous day's battle. After an initial confrontation between Howie and the turned Darren, Howie and his group beat a hasty retreat to Fort Spitbank on the south coast, where they prepare for the invasion of Darren and his army of undead.
I had a lot of fun with this series. Scary, at time gruesome but also very witty at times. Fantastic character development. Just all around great series. Sounds like another book will be coming.
A deadly infection spreads across Europe. The Undead series: a terrifying account of one man desperately struggling to survive this harrowing event day by day. Part one - days one to three. Howie is at home on a rare Friday night off work when an infection which has rapidly spread across Europe hits his hometown on the South Coast of England. Luck sees him through the first night when many others are taken down and infected, only to rise again as the undead.
Narration is fantastic!
The story took too long to get going and I almost gave up. I tired of the early experience quickly but once Dave comes in ( over half way), the second personality really moved the story along WONDERFULLY! The relationship between the main character and Dave is just fantastic. I immediately downloaded the second book! Hang in there because it gets GOOD!
