Robert Petkoff is really just one of my top 5 narrators at this point! He is soooo good, so smooth, accents are right on, even girl voices sound on point, if just a wee bit masculine. This series is really good, action packed, very steamy, I love it! Glad I started it! The writing is consistently good and the stories are interconnected in a great way. Lots of pop culture references, which I love, and fast paced- yet easy to follow. I find myself wishing the books were longer, but at the same time I feel the stories were played out to their conclusion, if that makes sense. If you want action, a little suspense, humor, supernatural characters, and lots and lots of steamy (ah-hem) scenes-- then, get this series!!

Let me preface this review by saying; I am Italian, and this series features a lot of Italian characters, so I may be a bit biased, but wow, I love these books! I cannot wait for the next one to come out. The Shadow Rider supernatural creature is a new one for me, I'd never considered it until the first book, but now I love the concept. The whole lore is very thought out and I am super interested to learn what else the Riders can do. The stories are supernatural romance in general, but there is a lot of action and, of course- a must for me, humor as well. They are also hot and sexy, with a slow burn that will have you on edge and happy about it. Jim Frangione is just the bestest, sigh, I could listen to him all day, oh wait, I kind of do. This is the kind of series that I will pick back up and read again and again.

This series seems to feature all of the usual Fae characters; vampires, werewolves, Valkyrie, ghouls, wraiths, etc, etc. This is the first book, sort of an introduction to the world painted here and it hits the mark easily. All with little intriguing twists on the lore. In my mind, it would be rated R+++, it is hot and sexy. The writing is smooth, at first I was worried about continuity, but it catches up with itself and I was easily able to forget any early on issues as the book progressed. It is well written and easy to follow, and it did make me blush! Robert Petkoff is amazing, easily in my top 5 narrators now. His accents are top notch! I will definitely continue this series, and I feel it is worth a listen if you like supernatural love stories that have (ahem), bite.

I was intrigued by the interesting premise of this book. I usually go for more straight up sci-fi, but this is close... at least I don't think we have any sentient androids... yet, lol. The writing was smooth and the story interesting and easy to get lost in. There is a bit of everything here; action, romance, humor, and drama. I finished the book in a few days, which for me, is sign that I really liked it. The narrator is Scottish (she sounds a bit like Karen Gillan to me), and she is a bit rough at parts, but overall I think she does a good job. If you are a romance fan that likes your books a mixed lot with humor and action thrown in, then I would definitely recommend Love for Sale!

If you've read the other books in this series, then stop reading and start downloading, cause this book is awesome! I wish they would make a movie out of this series. There are all your standard mystery elements here, lots of action, standard cussing, not much romance though. Some old characters make a resurgence. I highly recommend this book, it's funny, action packed, and well written.

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

You can't get a much smoother, better listen then the team of Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi. This book is told in the male/female first person, which is different for Molly Harper and a bit off-putting at first, but it works out ok. The story is a wonderful, supernatural mystery that pulls you in easily. Jonathan Davis does a great job as well. I was sad when I finished it and I hope there will be more to the 'Mystic Bayou' storyline soon! Highly recommend, esp if you are a Molly harper fan!

Being a goddess is a lot less fun than you might think. Especially when you're only a half goddess, you only found out about it recently, and you still don't know what you're doing half the time. And when you've just used your not-so-reliable powers to burglarize the booby-trapped office of a vampire mob boss. Yeah, that part sucks. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Cassandra Palmer, aka the Pythia, the freshly minted chief seer of the supernatural world.

This series keeps my interest, it has a ton of action, lots of supernatural mojo, a strong female heroine, and two good male leads. The narrator is excellent too. I wish there were some more romance, the characters could use a little more interaction and less retrospection, but that's just my opinion. There is sometimes too much happening at once. It's got time travel, which is always tricky to write, and I do get turned around inside the narrative sometimes. That said, it is a solid series and a fun adventure to follow. I recommend the credit on this, and every book in the series.
