It's a lousy first day on the job for Nina Blackman. A patient, loopy from the anesthesia, bites her. At least he was cute. The next morning, Nina wakes up with a set of razor-sharp fangs, bionic vision, supersonic hearing, and a taste for blood. But there's a good explanation: It's her patient, Long Island vampire Greg Statleon. Is Nina willing to commit to one man for eternity, even if they are perfect for each other?

Would you try another book from Dakota Cassidy and/or Meredith Mitchell?

I really loved her Paris New Mexico books that's why these are so disappointing. First they were expensive and then because they were so full of repetitione after repetition after repetion it is very tedious, after a while I just gave up. I'm not buying any more in the series. Two books were too many.

Has Accidentally Dead turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes

What about Meredith Mitchell’s performance did you like?

She did a really good job considering what she had to work with.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment

The book was good. The performance of this book compared to the first, this was a travesty. The accent was of a non existent region of I don't know from where deffinately not New Orleans.

What didn’t you like about Arthur J. Hoyt’s performance?

Nothing.

Any additional comments?

I like the series very much. I have them all, but this performer seems lacking

If you could sum up Fortune Hunter in three words, what would they be?

I absolutely LOVE ALL of these books. The carektures are so well developed and their friendship is stellar..

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love them all. I think Ida Belle has such a strong personality, and Gladys reminds me of a near sighted Rose Nylund. She's a nut..... lol. These books are so GREAT you won't be able to put them down and you'll want to listen to them over and over again.

What about Cassandra Campbell’s performance did you like?

Wonderful performer. One of the best.

What did you love best about Fluency?

The female characters are strong intelligent leaders that aren't afraid to take charge.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fluency?

When Jane took charge and told the General that she was not landing the ship there was someone alive on the ship and it didn't matter if they were human or not.

What does Susanna Burney bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I wish she had added a little more of the characters to her performance, she did a good job, I love the books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to the whole thing in one sitting

I don't care how you word a sentence on the same subject it's still repetition. and there are a lot of them in this book, one right after another. I guess it made this book a lot longer then it would have been otherwise. I think if she had a better editor the book would have been a lot better

Vampyres don't exist. They absolutely do not exist. At least I didn't think they did 'til I tried to quit smoking and ended up Undead. Who in the hell did I screw over in a former life that my getting healthy equates with dead? Now I'm a Vampyre. Yes, we exist whether we want to or not. However, I have to admit, the perks aren't bad. My girls no longer jiggle, my ass is higher than a kite, and the latest Prada keeps finding its way to my wardrobe.

Cassandra Chamberlain has always stood out. It's hard not to at 6'1" and 165 pounds, with jet black hair and sapphire blue eyes. And if that isn't enough, she is also brilliant, graduating from Harvard at 15, teaching at MIT at 19, and up for the prestigious Magellan Award at 25. She's never really fit in. Not with her peers, not with her contemporaries, only with her family. But everything changes when the Earth is attacked, and Cassandra and her niece, Victoria, are the only survivors. Suddenly the smartest woman on the planet has to relearn everything.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

While I love this book and have read it many, many times I found the performer's very bland and UN-emotional, halting in their reading and unbelievable. This is suppose to be full of action and emotion. Sometimes if you get one performer that can play all the parts it makes for a better outcome. I recommend Jill Redfield who Performs "The Phoenix Pack" series starting with "Feral Sins".

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I found the narrators Very NOT engaged in their performances. I'd say drop the sound effects and get one good performer as appose to four performers. Please Michelle check out Jill Redfield.
