In A Return to Love, Marianne Williamson shares her reflections on A Course in Miracles and her insights on the application of love in the search for inner peace.
Where does A Return to Love rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Felt too short and brief. Every topic is covered very briefly in it. Leaves you hungry for more. Never gets deep enough into anything...
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
This is an Abridged version, and is obviously so. It seems to have been chopped very short. It seems that Marianne Williamson has attempted to fit as many words as she could into the allotted time, and they are quality words, but the result is that she had to read it very fast, which is at odds with the material covered. It almost sounds as if it has been speeded up! The material would suit a slower presentation. Marianne Williamson's delivery and voice is otherwise very listenable to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
One or two sittings, yes.

Spanish Phase 1, Unit 1 contains 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and isolated vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. The lesson contains full practice for all vocabulary introduced in this unit. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Spanish.
The crucial thing about language lessons to me is the ability to put them on my iPod so I can listen on the go... this 'free' track would import into iTunes alright, but my iPod didn't recognise it and wouldn't import it, even though it imported the rest of the Playlist I had it saved in. This has never happened to me before on the many purchases I have made from Audible. I'm not sure if this is deliberate on the part of Pimsleur, anyway, it has put me off buying the 5 Credit, full Phase 1 set of Spanish lessons...
