For 13 years, Annie Lange and David McClure believed their parents were killed in fiery car crashes. They learn the truth about the past when they find hidden messages in anonymous gifts left on their front porches. The notes lead them to a mentor who helps them discover and master their special powers, powers they will need if they have any chance of saving their world from the tyrant Goliath.
The Lion Awakens is a fast paced and unique story. We follow David and Annie as they learn about and hone their unknown powers. Ms. Andrews knows how to craft an engaging story from start to finish. I would recommend this book to readers of any age!
Princess Snow is missing. Her home planet is filled with violence and corruption at the hands of King Matthias and his wife as they attempt to punish her captors. The king will stop at nothing to get his beloved daughter back - but that's assuming she wants to return at all. Essie has grown used to being cold. Temperatures on the planet Thanda are always sub-zero, and she fills her days with coding and repairs for the seven loyal drones that run the local mines.

This was such a treat to listen to. Ms. Angell made each story unique with her choices in narrative style. Truly a talented woman!
It's hard to pick my favorite! There were many genres represented so there is a story for everyone. I've even found some new authors to check out!
