Gansett Island midwife Victoria Stevens loves taking care of people, in her job and in her personal life, especially when it comes to her boyfriend of one year, sexy Irishman Shannon O'Grady. Fueled by combustible chemistry, her relationship with Shannon has been H-O-T from the first night they met. But she's begun to wonder whether theirs is destined to be a short-term fling or possibly the love of a lifetime.
If you could sum up Episode 1: Victoria & Shannon (Gansett Island Series) in three words, what would they be?
Love, family, and friends.

I loved the story and revisiting the characters of Gansett Island. I was a bit bothered by the narration of this book. There were a few times when the narrator voiced a male character using a voice clearly meant to be associated with a female character. Additionally, I had to ask myself, on a number of occasions, when Carolina picked up an Irish accent. That really threw me. Other than those inconsistencies, the narrator did a good job of transporting me back to Gansett Island and immersing me in the lives of the characters.
Just call me Mister O. Because your pleasure is my superpower. Making a woman feel "oh god that's good" is the name of the game, and if a man can't get the job done, he should get the hell out of the bedroom. I'm talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time. I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The narration was fabulous. I love the way the characters were brought to life.
