HBO's Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents the story of a Very Special boy bunny who falls in love with another boy bunny. Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence - the Vice President of the United States. But on this Very Special Day, Marlon's life is about to change forever....
Cute & sassy story with a great message. Awesome cast of narrators ....love that John Oliver & crew are donating proceeds to charity....
Rock Chick Reawakening shares the tale of the devastating event that nearly broke Daisy, an event that set Marcus Sloan - one of Denver's most respected businessmen and one of the Denver underground's most feared crime bosses - into finally making his move to win the heart of the woman who stole his.
I can't believe I waited so long to listen. I always liked Daisy and how can you not love her after listening to this.......and Marcus.....oh boy he may be my new favorite hot bunch guy. Had so much fun listening to this I need to go back and do a Rock Chick Audio Book Marathon.....
A couple of jerks wake me up at the crack of noon. Seems my klepto uncle stole an ancient deck of Tarot cards from a high-powered wizard, and too many losers want to ruin my day to get them back. The cards are cool, so I check them out, but my magic-happy cousin, Sabrina, tells me I'm not supposed to touch them. Oops. Too late. Now the damn cards are tuned to me, and if someone else wants to use them, I have to die. Why couldn't she have led with that information?
So at first I was not so sure about this one.....the narration was fantastic, Joe Hempel did a great job with the characters. The story however was kinda "meh". Brett was somewhat likable but honestly was to lazy to even care about.....and I figured this would be a one and done story (as in not continuing the series). Brett did redeem himself at the end and will give the second story a try before making a decision on the series .
My name is Frank Butcher, and when I got out of my truck to deliver the last package of the day, I never expected to get blown up by anti-magic zealots. Now, an ancient artifact is the only thing keeping me alive, and to make matters worse, that artifact is what those cultists wanted.
I loved this series and was disappointed when it was done.....I wanted more. I received the Audio from the narrator for an honest review.
First, Joe Hempel is an awesome narrator he added that "something" to the story you get with a when it is narrated well.
Frank just sucked me right into the story, he is a like able guy....the unlikely hero trying to make the best of a screwed up situation and do the right thing. I liked Gabriella but after Frank my next favorite was Abner. As much as I want to go into more detail....every time I start I feel like I'm giving away something. I have to say the build up to the third book and the final battle had me with a death grip on the steering wheel (I listen on my daily commute).
So go, get a copy and sit back and enjoy
Welcome to Harborsmouth, where monsters walk the streets unseen by humans...except those with second sight, like Ivy Granger. Ivy Granger's second sight is finally giving her life purpose. Ivy and her best friend Jinx may not be raking in the dough, but their psychic detective agency pays the bills - most of the time. Their only worry is the boredom of a slow day and the occasional crazy client - until a demon walks through their door. Demons are never a good sign.

First the positives, the narration was great, Traci Odom did a fabulous job with the narration and the various character voices. The characters were interesting and in general I really liked Ivy and the premise of this first book.
My issues with the story are the info dumps that seem to take forever to convey and they don't seem to be in any particular order. Some are repetitive enough that I found my mind wandering while listening and at points I was like "just get on with it already"......I think if I had been reading it it would have been a DNF but the narration saved it. I'm not sure yet if I will continue with the series or not but book 2 will be a "make it or break it" for me.

The narrator was the best part of the book. The story was not bad...I mostly liked the main characters. Although I think Callie had a few TSTL moments in the story.....I mean she is so logical and reasonable throughout and cannot see that certain situations were complete set ups by the bad guy???? That just bugged me.
I thought the narrator did a great job with the character voices and look forward to listening to more from her.

How to make healthy, easy, fast recipes that will make you look younger, feel better, and be fitter. Included is information on preparing whole foods ahead of time, meal planning, the "fruit family", vegetable whole foods, and legumes.
I have never listened to a cookbook before so thought this would be interesting. The narration was clear and concise which is important for ingredients and amounts....the problem how do you really book mark a recipe that sounds good? It would have been good if the author did a PDF file of just the recipes to download with the book so that you don't have to go back and fast forward through to find what you are looking for.
Most of the recipes seemed pretty good, there were a couple of them I would like to try. As I said the narrator did a great job with this, however I don't think I will be listening to cookbooks in the future....

Michael is a waif in eyeliner who's determined to wipe vampires off the face of the earth. Wild Bill's got the hots for Michael and will stop at nothing to go home with him. Forget about moonlit castles and windswept moors. These bad boys haunt all-night diners and cheap motels, cut-rate department stores and long, lonely stretches of the interstate.

I’m in the minority on this one, while I love the psy-cop series and some of the stand alones by JPC, I just did not connect with this one. I liked Michael and Wild Bill and enjoyed listening to their story it was just okay to me. I wish I could pinpoint what it was…..the story was well told/written and the narrator did a great job but something about the story just did not resonate with me.
Gomez Pugh did an amazing job with the voices, bringing each character to life, he is quickly becoming a favorite and I love his narration of the psy-cop series.
All Zach Sheridan ever wanted was to become alpha male of his Pack and be left alone. What he definitely didn't need in his life was some needy female demanding his attention. What he never saw coming was the vicious, scarred female who not only demanded his attention but knew exactly how to get it.
I love this series so was very happy when I saw it was available on audio. The narrator did a great job with the voices...while Sara, Miki & Angelina sounded a bit different in my head, the voice she gave them worked. I am now impatiently waiting for Go Fetch & Here Kitty Kitty to be available
Elle Dupree has her life all figured out: first a wedding, then her PhD, then swank faculty parties where she'll serve wine and cheese and introduce people to her husband the lawyer. But those plans disintegrate when she walks in on a vampire sucking the blood from her fiancé, Greg. Horrified, she screams and runs - not away from the vampire, but toward it, brandishing a wooden letter opener.

The narration on this is great, I enjoyed the voices given to the characters, she made the story enjoyable to listen to...even when the main character completely irritated me and made me want to stop.
The story though.....I have mixed feelings. It started out great and Elle is a great character....strong, adapts to the changes extremely well....and then there were a couple of instances around the 60-70% through when she pulled a TSTL and I had a hard time coming back from that. Other then that it was a well told story and while I am very curious where the story will go after that ending I'm still undecided if I will read/listen to the second book.
