Jonas Parker, the Earl of Harrington has no desire to marry. He rather enjoys being unencumbered. Lady Marian Lindsay rather likes being a spinster and embraces her bluestocking ways. She's studying to be a physician and wants to be a proper doctor. After careful deliberation she devises a scheme but she needs help. Harrington is appalled at Marian’s request but she somehow manages to charm him into saying yes. Before he realizes it, he’s escorting her to Kent and a house party. Propriety must be met at all costs because he will not be wed at the end of her expedition - or will he?

Historical inaccuracies aside, this book was quite simple and dull and it just didn't draw me in the way I would have liked.
The romance was nice and sweet but not very exciting and easily forgettable.
The evil grandfather had a massive u-turn in attitude and personality at the end of the book which seemed very out of character and way too simplistic and convenient for all concerned.
The narrator could have been more accurate with her pronunciation.

I really enjoyed this book. It was cute, fun and full of suspense and mystery.
I loved Ziva. She was smart, sassy, down to earth and I loved her attitude to men, exercise and food.
The mystery here was well written. I didn't have a clue who the murderer was. I felt that any of the side characters could have been involved and I was kept guessing until the end.
I was delighted to have found this new series and I can't wait to read more.

I am enjoying listening to this series. I love the characters and I feel like I get to know them a little bit better with each story.
The murder mystery in Body Wave was complex, very intriguing and had enough suspects to keep me guessing. There were a few funny scenes particularly those involving the older lady whom Marla nurses. It was a lot of fun.
On the romance side of the story I am glad that Marla is taking her time and not committing straight away to a new man. She deserves to have some fun before walking straight into the role of step mom.
This is a series I will happily continue to read.

I love Regency romance with mystery and this book fitted the bill perfectly.
I loved how the story started with a glimpse into Sebastian's childhood. I could see his motivations for the paths he took in life.
The romance was nice. It had a little bit of humour which I enjoyed and I loved the story of the missing brother.
All in all a lively and intriguing Regency Romance and a series that I will follow.

The narration was just OK for me. I heard a lot of words mispronounced and the narrator's pace was a little bit slow for me.

Edith and the Mysterious Stranger is a sweet, simple story probably more suited to teens rather than older readers with life experience.
Edith is unmarried because she is too picky and judges men on first impressions only. This made her sound very shallow as a person. I didn't really like the use of this old stereotype about women who are single. Edith is an educated and independent woman with a career. Finding love/getting married should have been the icing on the cake but instead finding a man to marry and making him happy became the focus of her life.
I felt that all the discussion about getting to know a person from the inside and as a friend first was a little bit preachy for my taste but the advice given may have some relevance to today's young Instagram generation.
I enjoyed catching up with Gilbert and Melinda. I quite liked the method of correspondence as a tool for courtship although the identity of 'the mysterious stranger' was very predictable.

I received a copy from the author and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

I've been intrigued by Trenton and Genevieve's story since book one and I've skipped ahead a couple of titles in order to get to the conclusion. However, in doing so I also missed a little bit of Genevieve's adventures. It didn't lessen my enjoyment of this book but I will definitely finish reading the back-list and look forward to reading Serenity's story when it is published in February 2018.
This was a quick, entertaining read which can be read as a standalone but I'd recommend the series as a whole as it doesn't disappoint.

A fun romantic-comedy mystery with a wonderful cast of characters and plenty of laugh out loud moments.

Sunny is cute, hilarious and goofy. Her disastrous series of first dates had me in stitches!
Jake was adorable as the hunky, helpful next door neighbour. I loved how Sunny debriefed him at the end of each of her dates. They had a cute relationship starting from how they first met which was really funny. I loved this couple so much.

The mystery aspect of the story was much lighter in plot; a missing person case which resolved pretty quick at the end of the story.

I liked Sunny's group of friends and I will enjoy reading their stories in the rest of the series.

The narration was brilliant. The narrator performed the variety of characters so well I forgot that I was listening to just one voice. I would definitely choose to continue this series in audio format.

There are rumors going around about my twin stepbrothers. Huge rumors. I try to ignore gossip, but it's easier said than done when it involves crazy sex stuff and verified reports about the size of things that a stepsister should know nothing about. Ethan and Nathan are the identically gorgeous hunks of man-flesh that have just moved into my house. I could barely look at them before the rumors, with their ridiculously twinkly blue eyes, and smiles that turn me into a mindless puddle of goo.

For a short, sexy read, this story was surprisingly good with a sweet, romantic story line. The twins were two likeable and charming characters and they always had Carrie's best interests at heart. I would have preferred the characters, particularly Carrie, to have been a little older and more mature especially seeing how far things progressed in the epilogue.
I liked how the characters thought very carefully about starting a relationship. It made the story seem more realistic somehow.

The narrator did an excellent job with all the different characters. The male voices were very good and even the twins sounded different. I'd definitely listen to more books performed by Meghan Kelly.
