Lillian Linden is a liar. On the surface, she looks like a brave survivor of a plane crash. But she's been lying to her family, her friends, and the whole world since rescue helicopters scooped her and her fellow survivor, Dave Hall, off a deserted island in the South Pacific. Missing for almost two years, the castaways are thrust into the spotlight after their rescue, becoming media darlings overnight. But they can't tell the real story--so they lie.

Well it starts off with suspense and action then dwindled down to “that’s the big secret?”

Survival on a deserted, lonely, tropical island is tough. The human interactions are somewhat intense. However how the survivors decided to deal in the aftermath is ridiculous in my opinion.

I listened to the audio book and liked the narration. The story - not so much.

Be prepared for a story that jumps around. It’s a real mind bender. I enjoyed the detective quality and the sci fi technology. Solid story.

An intricate tale of love, haunting memories, and renewal, Second Glance begins in current-day Vermont, where an old man puts a piece of land up for sale and unintentionally raises protest from the local Abenaki Indian tribe, who insist it's a burial ground. When odd, supernatural events plague the town of Comtosook, a ghost hunter is hired by the developer to help convince the residents that there's nothing spiritual about the property.

A bit ridiculous but a fun read. At times very tense, the science behind it is questionable, but all in all a good read.

I really love this, even with the harsh subject matter. I listened to the Audiobook and do not care for the orchestral elements.

Both narrators were wonderful. SK always does a good job reading his own work.
