A mysterious stranger known as 'The Wolf' leaves an infant with the sisters of Santo Spirito. A tiny silver key hidden in her wrappings is the only clue to the child's identity and so begins a story as intriguing and beautiful as the city of Florence itself. Belinda Alexandra's new novel, Tuscan Rose, is set in Italy during the time of Mussolini. This richly woven tale of passion, love, longing, witchcraft and magic promises to be everything her readers love and more.

Too much tea-spoon and repetition and characters were too "simple". Either 100% super-angels or 100% evil. Too much details about how horrible humans are who eat meat and too much focus on animal welfare (although I totally agree that this is important and that all animals deserve love and respect.)

The story is ok. Entertaining and makes you curious about the next book, because it really seems as if there will be another (or several) after this one.

When Lily Jacobs was born, she inherited Fazire - a genie. Her family had three wishes and they'd only ever used one so Fazire was stuck in the human world. This worked since he'd become a member of the family anyway. Even with a genie, Lily's young life wasn't perfect. To escape the kids making her miserable at school, Lily buried herself in romance novels. One day, when the teasing was just too much, she used one of her wishes.
