In The Team That Changed Baseball: Roberto Clemente and the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates, veteran baseball writer Bruce Markusen tells the story of one of the most likable and significant teams in the history of professional sports. In addition to the fact that they fielded the first all-minority lineup in major league history, the 1971 Pirates are noteworthy for the team's inspiring individual performances.

It is a little over the top as as far as blaming everything on baby boomers, however, facts are facts. Though I don't think it was necessarily organized or with intent as much as a lack of checks and balances. Or maybe better stated what happens to anything when someone that did not stuggle takes over.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

The book did not get interesting until 4 hours into the story. The author appeared to have researched the web cam girl industry with great curiosity. the detailed descriptions in the first 4 hours were unnecessary and irrelevant to the story. the main character's self-proclaimed serial killer tendencies seem to be incredibly thin. It read more like a very graphic Hallmark Channel movie.
