Given his well-earned bad boy reputation, Eric is having a tough time scoring. When single Jean moves to town, she seems heaven-sent by the sex gods. Only problem is, she not only wants nothing to do with him, but it turns out that she’s pregnant. Starting over in a small town, Jean is determined to turn her wild lifestyle around and be the kind of mother she always wished she’d had. When she goes into labor during a snow storm and her car slides on some ice, it’s Eric who comes to the rescue.
This story is very sweet and I am proud of Eric...and Jean is a really great gal! I wasn't a huge fan of this narration though, and the story was just ok for me....I love Kylie though...so I hope there is another one in this series soon!!! 3.5 for me...it was good...but not great!
The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together. And I don’t mean any of that figuratively. No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker - my physical therapist - I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit. She said she’d been assigned to fix me. But what I didn’t know...what I couldn’t possibly know...was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.
Ohhhhhhh this one is a heart wrencher..I cried and cried....LOL I love the Morgan brothers and Colby is a sweetheart! He meets Lydia and its love at first sight! She is his physical therapist after he was gravely injured in a fire rescue...He is a firefighter, he rescues a baby and has to dive out of a building to try and save both their lives...he was very brave!! This relationship was explosive!! Lydia has 3 kids, and Colby has his work cut out charming them all...but when its meant to be, its meant to be....LOVED IT!!!!
You'd think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You'd be wrong. For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don't know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.
I LOVED THIS SERIES, AND I HOPE WE GET ANOTHER ONE!!! Nate has loved Becca for years, and hse just never knew..and once they got together...it was on like donkey kong for Nate!! He was not going to take no for an answer and when Becca finally gave in..it was perfect!!! These 2 really compliment each other perfectly!! Great narration and story!!
Mike Beacon is a champion at defending the net, but off the ice he's not so lucky. A widower and a single father, he's never forgotten Lauren Williams, the ex who gave him the best year of his life. When Lauren reappears in the Bruisers office during the playoffs, Beacon sees his chance to make things right. Lauren hates that she's forced to travel with the team she used to work for and the man who broke her heart.
I really enjoyed these 2! Lauren was so angry at Mike, and it could have all been avoided if he communicated with her. His teenager was a bit much though... he just really was overwhelmed and she was so full of grief, that I think he just did not know how to process her pain, and help her! I really think Lauren went above and beyond for them... and I am glad it all worked out and they got a new addition to their family! Great Story! ❤❤❤ LOVED IT! ❤❤❤
As team captain and enforcer, Patrick O'Doul puts the bruise in the Brooklyn Bruisers. But after years of hard hits, O'Doul is feeling the burn, both physically and mentally. He conceals his pain from his coach and trainers, but when his chronic hip injury becomes too obvious to ignore, they send him for sessions with the team's massage therapist. After breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, Ari Bettini is in need of peace of mind. For now she's decided to focus on her work: rehabilitating the Bruisers' MVP.
Patrick and Ari!! Oh I loved this one!! I love Patrick...I want my own Patrick!! These 2 both had baggage and both of them needed to be loved the right way! Patrick beats people up and takes a beating for work, and being a foster child that had to fight his whole life, he is prickly and non trusting...Ari is coming off a bad relationship and is still trying to shale off and a dangerous Ex....Together they can conquer it all!! LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!!! ALL THE FEELS!!!!
I AGAIN RECOMMEND!!!!
Hockey player Leo Trevi has spent the last six years trying to do two things: get over the girl who broke his heart, and succeed in the NHL. But on the first day he's called up to the newly franchised Brooklyn Bruisers, Leo gets checked on both sides. First by the team's coach, who has a long simmering grudge, and then by the Bruisers' sexy, icy publicist - his former girlfriend Georgia Worthington. Saying goodbye to Leo was one of the hardest things Georgia ever had to do - and saying hello again isn't much easier.
I love Hockey Players the most I think! They are always exciting and sexy! I felt so sorry for Georgia and for Leo and her dad...they all suffered something so traumatic..and they never really dealt with it! I am glad they finally got it all sorted and could begin the healing together as a family! This was wonderful and I am onto book 2!!!
From birth to death, The War is all the citizens of Dystance know. As children it is drilled into their heads that war is the purpose behind all existence. Winter doesn't agree. She's stumbled across remnants of life the way it was before The War began, and now she longs to be as free as her ancestors. With help from her best friend Cedar and the boy she is forbidden to love, Tallow. She believes she can do it. Winter can see a life beyond the Pickets, beyond the constant hunger and the threat of death, beyond the war machine.
Well, I like how Mark rebranded this one...I see what he did...and I think I kinda know where he is gonna go with this one; Well maybe..Mark is unpredictable most times....But I like what I heard! I loved the old version too, this one took me a minute to settle into, because I had listened to the old one 3 times and was in love with the characters already, I could hear them in my head, the old way...lol I am huge Sean Runnette fan, so it just took a bit to get used to this way..and he did a great job, he gave the story a lot of heart, and humor...and he made me believe it all over again...Im really excited that Winter made it this time..and I cant wait to listen to the next one!!!
ANOTHER WINNER MR TUFO!!! I RECOMMEND!!!!

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.
LOVED IT!! THE STORY, THE CHARACTERS, THE LOCATION, THE NARRATION....ALL OF IT!!! This book drew me in from minute one almost, and kept my attention the whole time!! I would love more from this couple...and I hope Amy turns this into a series, or at least a duet!!
Mo Collins, the reluctant hero, has sailed around the country on board the replica pirate ship, the Viva Ancora, and now he finds himself only miles from his childhood home. But now the world has gone to hell. Hordes of naked, blue, biting zombies have flooded the now dead Alabama lake town. Mo and his only surviving shipmate, Crow, are surviving. They fish and watch the monsters roam the night; seeking untainted flesh and leaving a disgusting mess in their wake. But when a lone survivor stumbles upon Mo and Crow they gain a new crew member but also find much needed direction.
This was a fun and entertaining listen....The characters are super relatable..and Mo has built him a merry band of survivors, that I know are going to keep this an interesting story! His zombies are unique and blue!! They sound really gross too, lol! The story was fairly fast paced and I liked it quite a bit...I felt its for a younger crowd, but not teen..there is a lot of cuss words and super funny dialogue...I laughed out loud quite a bit! I think this will do well...and I thank Javan for for giving me the opportunity to listen first..and I am intrigued enough to want the next one asap!!

Getting to Etna Station is all that matters. With the world rapidly collapsing around them, Mike and company make a desperate trek to reach what they believe to be a safe haven. Can they outrun the demons that chase them? Will they succumb to Knox and his tyrannical army or Payne, a revenge-bent vampire? New friends will be made along the way while some old ones will fall. If they make it, will it be all they hoped or just another nightmare?
Oh wow..this one is thrilling and heartbreaking and so much info to digest...that I am totally blown away at its brilliance!!! Mike and his family really go through it here...We get a visit from some oldie but goodie characters...one of my faves! We get a few answers and get taken on a very intense journey....I dont know how Mark does it, but he just continues to get better and better...his style and characters just keep developing into something that is unique and so engaging that you just can not put his books down once you start them!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND....ALL OF TUFO'S WORK!!! CANT WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT ONE!!!!
